I bought this TV because my old TV had picture problems, and I wanted to get a set that's slightly bigger. My old TV left a sour taste in my mouth for Smart TVs, and I was wary about buying another one. However, from the experience I've had with streaming boxes, I've deducted that the one I like the most is Roku, and if I was to get a new smart TV, it had to be a Roku TV. I prefer the Roku interface and remote to any other streamer I've tried. The user interface keeps it simple, it doesn't bombard you with gigantic ad on the top half of your screen (looking at you, Amazon) and the apps are sorted in a 3-column grid that everyone, even your elderly family members that can't work an iPhone, can probably immediately understand it. The remote is comfortable and has a good heft to it. On self-branded Roku TVs like this one, it comes with a "premium" Roku remote. It's thicker than the regular Roku TV remote you'll get with, say, a TCL or Hisense model. The box gives you everything you need for a basic setup. If you've had a Roku Ultra, it's that remote. The TV has four HDMI ports and one Composite input. I hook this up to multiple game consoles. Right now, I have a PS4, Nintendo Switch and Wii all hooked up via HDMI, on top of a Vizio soundbar with HDMI-ARC. I don't have to swap out cables to play a different system, and that's really nice. Overall, this TV is perfect for what I use it for, and I'd totally recommend this set if you want to get a good, cheap TV.

The Roku 50" Class Select Series 4K TV is a solid choice if you're looking for a budget-friendly upgrade to your viewing experience. The 4K resolution makes a noticeable difference, providing sharp and clear images, especially when streaming content that supports it. One of the biggest benefits is the Roku operating system. It's incredibly user-friendly and offers access to pretty much every streaming service you can think of. Setting it up was a breeze, and navigating through the menus is super intuitive. Plus, the included remote is simple and has all the essential buttons you need. For the price, the picture quality is impressive. Colors are vibrant, and the upscaling does a decent job of making non-4K content look better. While it might not compete with higher-end TVs, it's a fantastic value for the money and a great way to enjoy 4K streaming without breaking the bank.

I was watching a neighbor's Roku TV when I decided it was time to bite the bullet and get my own. This was one of the best Tech decisions I made. I went to BestBuy to check out my options. The only thing that floored me more than the screen was the price. The price was so inexpensive, I didn't even think about the brand. What is the worse thing that could happen if you made a bad decision? The TV itself was light, which made it easy to take out of the box and set up. It even made it easy to mount once I installed the mount. The remote control was simple, which for me is a huge plus. (I am old enough to remember when TVs were simple, and parents used children as the remote control. LOL) Once I finally mounted the TV, I was ready to watch. The set up was also simple, and navigating to where you wanted to go was easy. Lots of choices without having to pay for anything. I watched a Lynyrd Skynyrd documentary, COPS (in Florida no less), Shark Squandron (en español), and all for Free!!! And then I found out you could stream Bloomberg! The picture was phenomenal. It really looks better than life. I couldn't believe I was getting this all through my AT&T WiFi. I didn't think it would have the bandwidth, especially since I had my laptop connected as well. A couple of "shortcomings," in my view. Nothing major. Once the TV connects to the WiFi, its hard to get it to realize it is also connected to an over-the-air antenna. (Roku probably wants to keep you on their platform. LOL) I am sure there is a way to point it to the antenna, but I didn't bother trying to figure it out. Another shortcoming is how much of my monthly 100GB of traffic it used on my AT&T hotspot. (That's really not the TV's fault, but it did take me by surprise when I was notified after 3 days that I only had like 35 Gigs left, and the month only started the day before I turned on the TV for the first time.) I also wouldn't be surprised if it s using the internet when it is plugged in and turned off. (I wouldn't be surprised if the TV is spying on you when its off. LOL) I am very happy with my purchase, and look forward to using it more once I get wired internet with no data cap.

My aging mother lives with me, and "Smart" anything are usually a whole lot more difficult for her to use. My last smart TV - different brand - though easy for me to figure out how to use once set up, was too challenging for her abilities and so she just didn't watch it because she didn't know how to work it, and her hands would fumble with the remote. This ROKU is a major improvement!! Once I had it set up, settings adjusted, I showed her how to use it with the remote it clicked. The remote is wonderfully simple and user friendly for her needs (which is live TV, Prime movies, and those little channels with the oldie shows). The startup platform makes selection and scrolling very easy. She can navigate what is most relevant to her. Thank you ROKU!! Also, although I have only had it a few weeks, we are both happy with the sound and picture quality. Unlike my last smart TV, I'm not constantly having to increase or decrease the volume during action scene changes, and no annoying pixel lines (yet). A tip to the manufacturer: engineer them so the screen can fold and unfold like the new smart-phones - would make transport, storage, and moving easier. It was unwieldy getting this into my small car while boxed - but I do love it.

This 4K TV is an excellent choice for anyone looking to upgrade their home entertainment setup without breaking the bank. The picture quality is impressive, delivering vibrant colors and sharp details that make everything from movies to live sports pop. While it doesn’t have the deep blacks of an OLED or advanced dimming zones, the overall performance is solid, especially for its price range. What really sets this 4K TV apart is the built-in Roku streaming platform. It’s incredibly easy to navigate, with a clean interface and quick access to all the major streaming apps. The included remote is simple and intuitive, featuring handy shortcuts to popular services. Overall, this 4K TV offers a great combination of quality, convenience, and affordability, making it a fantastic addition to any living room.

Roku is absolutely awesome. I own two other Roku's that are a little older and I purchased them all at Best Buy. They all are wonderful but this new one has some up graded features such as speech recognition and enhanced remote that add to the pleasure of using and watching it. The sound quality is also much better than my older models. Roku seamlessly upgrades them along with you steaming channels nightly for your best viewing experience. It's nice that you can personalize the video as well as the sound to fit you best experience. I would highly recommend buying a Roku from Best Buy, mine was delivered free of charge with all the instructions I needed to hang it on the wall myself.

Got this on Black Friday. 4K, 50” for $200. It was a GREAT deal. I recommend it. The interface is a bit slow, but aside from that…Roku makes solid equipment. The interface is super easy to use, and the TV just fits many needs. Picture quality is great. Love the remote too. No regrets. Great value overall.

We just upgraded our TV. We used the Best Buy website to determine which one would work best for our living room and our lifestyle. The TV is great in quality and so much faster to use in comparison to the firestick. We went to the store when it was noted to be in stock. I’m so glad we used to website because this model was not on the floor, the salesman has to retrieve the item from the back but checkout was fast. The item itself was extremely easy to set up including attaching an antenna to it. We are very pleased with this purchase.

This is an excellent TV for the money. The colors are vibrant and the fidelity is stunning on 4K content. Just do keep in mind it's still a budget TV. The build quality is not premium. The viewing angles are good but noticeably worse than more expensive offerings. The software is good but does occasionally does stumble launching apps require a hard reset of the TV. I mounted this TV in our home gym and I think its a perfect fit for that.

Works great in home office as a giant computer monitor 4K @ 60Hz with HDR turned on. The 4 hdmi inputs is helpful, with some TVs now coming with only 2. 1: soundbar (arc) 2: personal pc 3: work pc 4: ps 5

Set up was easy and went smooth. Picture looks great for the price point. Only complaint would be the sound isn’t the greatest and depending on how high pitch a sound is, the TV rattles a bit in the back where the speaker is. Not sure if I would buy it again or not.

Bought to replace an older TV we had a Roku Streambar pro hooked up to when lightening ran in on it. We like Roku so much we decided to go with a Roku TV. We love it! Easy hookup to our outside antenna (no cable for us) and our internet. We get more over the air channels than with our old TV. Color is great and the tv speakers are decent but not good. We are going to purchase a soundbar to go with it-just haven’t gotten around to it yet. My husband has a DVD collection and it was easy hookup to the DVD player as well. Purchased online with Bestbuy and did curbside pickup. Easy ordering and customer service from Bestbuy. Very happy customer.
