I have had several front loaders which all became so moldy around the rim. I have used a numerous amount of different cleaners and nothing would get rid of the mold. I decided to buy a top loader and went with Samsung since all my appliances are Samsung. I am very happy with it and I feel my laundry is much cleaner now and no more mold issues

Other than being a bit deep for my wife, this is a great machine. It cleans very well big and small loads. With a lovely chime when it’s completed.

Great so far, quite, love the features and controls as well the depth of washer I would recommend this machine.

A lot of wash cycle options on this washer. I got the model with the agitator. I think they offer the choice of agitator and no agitator. The one with the agitator will help clean the clothes a bit better. This model is very spacious and can fit large loads on laundry.

I love my new washer! It’s large, fast and efficient. I am tall so I can easily reach the bottom but if you’re short you will need a stool!

I am so happy with this washer!!! It is amazing!! We had a Samsung washer and dryer prior. This is a definite upgrade. We love it! I can actually reach the bottom and I’m 5’4. The agitator washes so much better, glad I got it.

This washer is deeper than expected. It’s not really a bad thing but for shorter people, you’ll need a double step to reach the bottom of the washer. Also don’t freak when it doesn’t fill the tub all the way to the top. The washer senses how much water is needed and uses only that amount. This washer can wash a comforter without an issue.

A normal washing machine will (by default) detect the size of your load and do whatever it can to submerge it into water. Not this hunk of junk. Use the Deep Fill Option -Unless you're planning on washing 4 pairs of boxers and some socks (leaving 90% of the basin empty), do NOT let the cycle turn on until and unless you activate the "Deep Fill" option. Biggest Con: -if you realize that the machine didn't dump enough water before the cycle, if you want to switch cycles, or even if you want to soak your clothes for a few hours (like a normal human being), you can't. The machine will drain out all that water just so your water bill can skyrocket for no reason. Thanks for being a total scumbag, Samsung! PS- regarding my picture, the top "glass" gets foggy from hot water

This is a really good washer. Unfortunately, no washers really compare to the simplicity and effectiveness of older washers. I would probably say, front load washers are your best bet, as far as efficiencyand effectiveness. However, to get into a 5+ cubic foot washer, you will spend nearly 2 times the amount of a comparable top loader. They will use less water, and very effectively clean. With that said, they have made improvements on top loads since the old days. 1) Less water is used. It knows how much cloths you have and appropriately fills the washer and seems pretty dead on. It does fill a little slower than my old washer did, I have noticed. For me, the smart features are kinda gimmicky. I will probably never use them. I wish they had, simple preset saved configurations (like on a radio for the stations you like). Which you can do with the smart aspect of it. How much easier and smarter would it be for Samsung to add a row of 3 or 4 buttons that you can configure to whatever you wanted?. 2) Design is very elegant looking for a top load. They look even better if you choose a different color. 3) The agitator uses way less water. 4) The inside metal spins independently of the drum. Creating a lot of cleaning power by itself, with an agitator, works even better. 5) The buttons are intuitive and easy to use and grasp the concept of. 6) You can configure every aspect of this machine. To how fast it spins, how soiled the clothes are, if you want to presoak, deep fill, what tyoe of cmothes you are washing. Temperature of the water, with about 5 or so different increments. Or you can simply hit normal, and wash clothes. So it can be and fone tuned as you like, or simply use the presets. 7) It appears to be made rather well. There is some of it assembled in the USA, which I thought was pretty cool. 8) I like this the most, it had a way to turn on a faucet in side of it, to rinse out ur detergent lid, maybe srub something, whatever you need. 9) This machine will spin dry you clothes 10 times better than an older machine, thays for sure. I would even say, comparable to a front load. 10) Finaly, the small details matter, it has rubber feet on it. Which are not only great for lowering vibration, but this machine will def not move on you. Unless you have severely unbalanced. Balancing it, is effortlessly. They did an amazing job engineering the twist feet with a large, easy to turn, (not at first, they come pretty tight from the factory, once u get it going, its easy) large knobs for the feet. There is quick wash settings to make for faster wash times. Also, there is a deep fill setting, to make up for it using less water, if you so choose. All in all, there is every setting you will ever need. There is a way to monitor the machine from ur phone. There is a way to postpone the machine, so you can load it all up with everything you wanna wash, then pick the time (preferably ehen your wife or gf is there) to start. You can have it finish for when you are getting out of work, vs, washing ur clothes before you leave and them sitting in there all day. It's definitely a good machine. I have no issues thus far. I don't overfill it or overload it so it should last a while. It has a built in cleaning mode. Which is good. There are cleaning products out there, you should definitely use as well. I can fit my entire comforter in this machine for a king size bed no problem. The dryer I have is even bigger, at 7.4 cf, I can pretty dry anything in it. I like that my dryer is very reminiscent of my older dryer. Very simple, easy to use, and very effective. Also worth noting, it's very quiet. It has a nice little ring it to it when it stops, kindof annoying, but it's growing on me lol. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this. Best buy delivery service was phenomenal. It was free for one. Which is amazing. They will take ur old machines for $40 each. I chose to contact a local scrapper, via FBM, and had it picked up for free. I gave him a 20 and he was very happy. Best Buy is an excellent company to ourchase from. Their service and ease of scheduling was simple, quick, and not delayed at all. I odered the washer and dryer at different times, both went flawlessly. It is still a little pricey for a top load. However, if you go down even slightly in size, they become very affordable. Thank you Best Buy.
