I did some online research and settled on a 55" Q60 TV to replace a 15-year-old 42" Panasonic plasma TV that got fried during a recent lightning storm. When I came into the BestBuy store to look it over, I decided instead to move up to the Q70 TV. We're had it for 24 hours (bought 9/12/2020) and it seems to be a fantastic upgrade. The picture is amazing when streaming 4K and still excellent with the HD satellite feed. Acoustics are much better (easier to hear) than our old TV and install was easy since I removed the brackets from my old TV and bolted them onto the new one. One issue: the guide says to use 39-41mm M8 bolts, but that length engages MAYBE 1-2 threads. I rolled over to Home Depot and bought M8x1.25 x 45mm socket head cap screws (no Philips available in that size/length) and with a lock washer, they engage fully and secure the TV to the mounts. Samsung should reevaluate their literature for this. Functionally, the TV automatically detected our wi-fi as well as the DirecTV feed and self-configured so that the TV remote is the only one needed. Using the SmartThings app, we were able to configure and register the TV in a few quick steps. The remote is sleek, but without a keypad, it takes longer / more steps to manually select a different channel. I just reprogrammed the DirecTV remote to the new TV and all is well - one remote to rule them all. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase even though it's just the honeymoon phase. I'll update should anything interesting occur. For the on-sale $899 price, I think this TV is a good bargain, considering the features and picture quality vs. competitors. It was an easy choice and so far, it's a great buy.

I bought this tv for my husband cause he got the PlayStation 5 as a gift. I read up on all the reviews on several sites before purchasing. I am not all knowledgeable about the different specs and what it does or how it performs. After learning and being better educated, I purchased this tv. We both are beyond impressed at the quality, clarity and depth of what this tv delivers. My husband is impressed with the game mode that adapts to the new games and the graphics that makes the gaming experience better. I am sure that a OLED tv would outshine this model by way far, but if you’re in the market for a great tv, good gaming experience, no a pocket breaker, then this is the tv for you.

First off this is my 2 4K tv so I kinda know whats good. First thing to say is you get what you pay for!!! My last one was $450 so this tv for $899 is good. At this time some tvs can run up to $3000 and there up more for 8K. This is a step up from led tvs of past. + they just keep adding coll stuff like minor link to cast Laptops or phones to it. I have a few thing I use with the tv and the 4 HDMI inputs are good. Most tvs only got 2 or 3. I use a cable box 1080, a Apple tv 4K, and Sony UHD 4K Player. No I dont use tv for gameing but you can it had 2.1 HDMI input for that too. The apps are cool and it took about 5 min to learn the use software to nav. the apps and inputs. I even say if do not have a sound bar or souround sound the tv sound work good. I would give 5 stars but I do NOT like the dimming when watch movies or shows. It makes dark even darker the jumps bright again. Dark stuff is hard to see and no way to stop it!!! I with samsung would fix that!!!! All in all the tv is tops for money.

I own last years model of this same tv. The picture and sound quality are terrific! On my old set I’ve got SONOS connected, so that sound quality is very, very good! Set up is a piece of cake, the One Remote connection has been made easier. There are tons of apps and features on this set. I really enjoy these purchases!!!

I give it 5 stars for picture quality, controls, apps and connectivity. The only reason for the slight downgrade is the sound quality. I’d hoped for more. If I could have found a way to easily connect a wireless subwoofer (no sound bar) that would have grabbed that 5th star. Alas, no such thing available. So I broke down and bought a NEW sound bar. See, I replaced a 10 year old 40 inch Samsung (that still works great but didn’t have smart features - used Apple TV with it), and a 7 year old Samsung sound bar/subwoofer. And I moved it from a built in, over the fireplace location to a wall. The idea of not having to use a sound bar appealed to me. But, the TV forced me into using a sound bar, and I wanted a newer one that would power on and off automatically. But this is about the TV. The picture is breathtaking. Almost 3D. Deep blacks and amazing contrast. It struggles sometimes with the audio when casting from my iPhone or iPad, and sometimes it won’t show the screen, but I can live with that. I can always hook my old Apple TV up to it - after all, it has 4 hdmi inputs. So it’s a great TV. Not cheap, but far from the most expensive.

Needed a wall mounted TV for a family room off the kitchen. Didn’t want to use a sound bar. This TV has a great picture and sound. Easy set-up and installation was quick.

The screen quality and clarity is very good. Good viewing angle to watch a movie or play games up to 160 degrees. The 120hz is quick and smooth for playing games like GTA and Rainbow 6 Siege. The color quality is excellent. The speakers are plenty loud. I have the 55” Q70 T. The 55” size is good for a large bedroom or average size living/family room. It has 4 HDMI’s and 2USB’s. The remote is easy to work, stream with, and functional. I would buy this TV again.

I made the wrong choice of buying a TV from Meijers and after a year it broke. The panel went bad but I bought the warranty just in case. Meijer’s has 3 different companies that cover the TV and it took over a month to finally get my reimbursement check after messing around with the TV for a few weeks. Never again will I buy from any other electronics store other than Best Buy. Geek squad is right there in the store and I’ve never had issues when I brought in my laptop and other electronics they solve the issues right away. I upgraded from a Q60 to this Q70 I think the only difference is just the refresh rate which is useful for the Series X and PS5. Other than that it’s not much different. All I need now is the Xbox Series X and PS5. I attached a few pictures of the TV details of what the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro shows.

The 55 Q70t Samsung is an Excellent 4K TV, I love how the TV brings out all kinds of colors, especially when I watch anime or HDR Content and Gaming. The only thing the TV misses out on is not having enough smart apps. I had to purchase a Roku to get all the good apps. Hopefully, one day they team up with Roku.

Amazing TV Works excellent with my xboxseriesx X 4K Ultra at 120 frames per second you can't get no better than that TV has nice dark colors lots of options for the price you can't beat it TV only does have only 1 down point on it only one 2.1 HDMI port so you see if they have one console you're fine but if you want to run multiple consoles and get 4k at 120 frames per second you have to unplug and plug your other console in

This television is perfect. Picture quality and user friendly are two reasons I like it so much. I find that I can’t go wrong when I buy a Samsung product.

The Samsung Q70T is a good tv for day to day use. It has a very nice picture and the sound quality is also good. Though I did use a Samsung sound bar. The sound bar does work well with the tv. Sometimes when I turn on the tv it doesn’t always connect to the sound bar. Also, it does have an issue with its wifi connection. I’ve had to reset the WiFi settings on the tv at less three times. Even though I’ve only had the tv for a few weeks. I’m getting a replacement soon.

The picture is so clear and deep it looks fake! Options are great, like ambient mode

I like the TV, it has a nice color to it’s picture. I have updated from an older tv and this Samsung OLED 70T automatically streams Netflix, Prime video, and Samsung tv plus. Lots of movies or tv shows to choose from.

Bought yesterday and was skeptical about the quality vs. my other 4k tv but this Samsung Q70T is the way to go!! Stunningly beautiful picture quality and amazing smoothness(especially with gaming)!

Wanted a TV that would run 4K at 120Hz for my new Xbox Series X but didn’t want to spend a fortune. Performs better than expected. Be careful unboxing it.

My wife and I were able to handle the 55 inch television with no problem. The mounting system was fair. I needed to go to the local hardware store for the proper size bolts that I thought might have been supplied but wasn't. The picture is clear and the remote control is user friendly .

Nice picture, I had to call my technician back on @ least 4 to 5 separate occasions to learn how to use the different remote controls. I had to have a coaxial cable inserted on back of the t.v. The cable isn't hidden behind the t.v. I'm waiting for the technician to come back and hide the coaxial cable on back of the t.v.

Excellent picture quality. Acceptable sound quality. I don’t feel the need for an auxiliary speaker.
