Q: Can I use this bulb (A19 with Wi-Fi) without a hub, using only an Alexa dot?
A: Yes, but you need to use the phone app to configure.
Q: Are these lights able to be put into the ceiling?
A: Bruh its a light, of course you can put it in the ceiling!
Q: Can this bulb be controlled from anywhere if I’m not home ??
A: Yes. I use the phone app. to turn on all the bulbs when I know that I will not make it home before dark.
Q: Do I need a hub for these, or just WiFi and my phone?
A: You can control them trough the phone with the app.
Q: What is the wattage this bulb puts out or is equivalent to? I'm unable to find it in the ad.
A: The wattage on this specific bulb is equivalent to that of a 60watt light bulb but uses 9watts. I have included a specs page screenshot for your reference
Q: Can echo show 8 serve as hub
A: You must install the app on your phone to connect them to your network. After that you can control using Alexa.
Q: Do these light bulbs run out and have to by a new one
A: I believe that this bulb is good for 5 years
