Customer Ratings & Reviews

My review is based on the comparison with the Bose QC45 as I needed a clear winner and see which one to keep. At first, I got the Bose Qc 45 while they were on sale for $229 on Black Friday, and got the momentum for $300. I take the subway every day going to work, and that's where I tested both QC 45 and Momentum 4. There are my conclusions: When it comes to the Bose QC 45: The comfort is just DIVINE (Piccolo approved ;-) ) ! the Bose QC 45 is SO LIGHT that I easily forget that I have them! I have no problem wearing them for an entire day without any fatigue! they are that light and comfortable and you barely remember that you wear them and are my always go-to! The sound quality is FANTASTIC (I just wish it had more bass), the EQ won't bring a drastic change but it's a welcome feature. The ANC is just TOP TIER as someone who takes the NYC subway every day, I always enjoy my music and podcast while on the train. Transparency is Great but not airpod max level. Now let's talk about the Momentum 4: The reason why I bought the Momentum 4 is that I needed my sound to be a bit louder and I wanted more bass without paying the price of the Sony XM5, moreover, when it comes to calls, the Bose 45 is not the best when you are in a noisy/ windy environment (subway and street) and I got quickly frustrated on calls as people would constantly have a hard time listening to me. The Momentum 4 has AMAZING SOUND QUALITY (better than the Sony XM5 but that's for you to appreciate) ! The bass is crazy, all of that without touching the EQ (when you play with it, it's even better) !!! The comfort is close to the Bose QC45, however the clamping force is a bit strong vs the bose, and sometimes you will need to take them off to relieve your head of the pressure, but Bose stays way ahead in terms of comfort ( as I said Piccolo approved) and can be worn for an entire day without fatigue ( for me ) , and the call quality with the momentum 4 is just GREAT and very close to the Sony XM5, I made phone calls while in the subway with trains passing by and people on the other side of the line had no problem listening to me (what a relief !) ! No one ever complained about how I sounded. The battery is just crazy almost 3 times the Bose (60 hours) ! ANC is Top tier too, and so is transparency but still not Airpod max level, but enough to hear your surrounding properly. my biggest issue with the Momentum 4 which is a big strength of the Bose is Bluetooth Connectivity and power on and off. Several times I had to check if the headphones were connected to my device or I had to turn off and restart the headphone to be sure it was connected, an issue I NEVER HAD with the Bose (just switch on and press play). Sometimes it's hard to know if it's ON or OFF as it turns on automatically and it's a bit confusing to know wether you really switched it off or not. I hope Sennheiser will address that with a software update. A personal one : I wish the momentum 4 had more buttons like the bose ( easy to operate in any season and no room for confusion) Do I recommend the momentum 4 ? ABSOLUTELY! What about the Bose QC45? Perfect Comfort , great ANC (the best for very long listening and travel).

Absolutely adore these headphones. I purchased them on a pretty deep Black Friday discount, as I was looking for over-ear headphones to use in university for studying and the like. Pros: - Wonderful sound quality - BY FAR the best I've heard in any Bluetooth headphones. Additionally, the wired options improve it even more. - Excellent build quality. These headphones are incredibly comfortable and feel very "premium" (if that word even still has meaning). They do not feel flimsy and feel very well designed. - The battery life. The battery is excellent. I have not once ran into an issue with the battery. - Touch controls. This is an area I've seen a lot of contention about online. I have personally found them to be very intuitive, and I've had little to no issues with them in the month I've been using these headphones. I am someone who has longer hair and likes to lie down, and I've rarely if ever had any unwanted inputs. Additionally, the controls respond well. I think the inputs are a bit precise, which may be an issue for some. - The look. The brown color is a little bit darker than it appears in online, and I think they are absolutely gorgeous. They are very easy to accessorize with, and if you're someone that wears earthier tones like I, this is the color you want to go with. Cons: - The noise cancellation. This is not incredibly important to me, but if noise cancellation is your biggest deciding point (which, these are noise cancelling headphones) I would suggest looking elsewhere. It is not bad, but there are certianly better on the market. I find that my AirPods Pro 2 beat them in many scenarios. - Windows PC usage - I primarily use Apple devices (iPhone, MacBook) and they are incredibly seamless and connect easily for those. However, I also use a Windows PC, and they seem to have some issues with that. It is resolved, but sometimes it's a couple minutes of messing with them until they work. Never unbearable, but a minor inconvenience. Overall, I find these headphones incredible. The sound quality is unlike any other bluetooth headphone I've tried, and the wired capabilities bring that even higher. Despite lackluster noise cancellation and Windows connectivity troubles, these are minor grievances to me and they more than make up for it elsewhere. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for quality over-ear headphones.

I recently got the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones, and after weeks of using them, I can confidently say they’ve exceeded my expectations in almost every way. Whether I’m working, commuting, or just relaxing at home, these headphones deliver an unbeatable experience. Comfort and Design: Let’s start with comfort—these are some of the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever used. The ear cups are super soft and fit snugly without feeling tight, even during long listening sessions. The lightweight design also means no fatigue after hours of wear. While the look is more minimalist compared to previous Momentum models, I actually like the understated style. It feels modern and premium. Sound Quality: The sound quality is phenomenal, as you’d expect from Sennheiser. The audio is rich and balanced, with crystal-clear highs, smooth mids, and deep, punchy bass. Whether I’m listening to classical music, hip-hop, or podcasts, the Momentum 4 adjusts beautifully. They also support high-resolution audio codecs like aptX Adaptive, so streaming from services like Tidal or Spotify feels like a live concert. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): The ANC on these headphones is top-tier. I’ve used them in noisy environments like coffee shops, airplanes, and even during commutes, and they block out almost everything. What’s impressive is how natural the transparency mode feels when I need to hear my surroundings—no weird robotic sounds. Battery Life: The battery life is insane—up to 60 hours on a single charge. I only have to charge them once a week, even with daily use. The fast-charging feature is a lifesaver, too—a quick 10-minute charge gives several hours of playback. Connectivity: Pairing these headphones is seamless with Bluetooth 5.2. The multipoint connectivity is a game-changer—I can connect to both my phone and laptop simultaneously, which is perfect for work and calls. The touch controls are responsive, and the companion app lets you customize the sound profile to your liking. Use Cases: I’ve used these headphones for everything—music, binge-watching Netflix, taking calls, and even editing videos. The mic quality is fantastic for calls, so I never have to switch to another headset during meetings. They’re also perfect for traveling, thanks to the long battery life and excellent noise cancellation. Final Thoughts: The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones are worth every penny. They deliver incredible sound, unmatched comfort, and the best battery life I’ve experienced in headphones. If you’re someone who values premium audio and features that genuinely make your life easier, these are an excellent investment. I honestly can’t imagine going back to anything else.

Sound quality is top tier (with the use of the app, else it sounds flat out of the box). Sound quality is clean, spatial, and full. It feels like the singer is singing right into my ears. Each instrument is well balanced and placed; no instrument overpowers the other. ANC is very good too. I cannot hear the loud construction that's right outside. I come from the Skullcandy Crusher Evo which is specialized for bass and percussion. The bass and percussion on the M4s are exceptional, but are not as impactful and intense like the Evo's. This shouldn't be a concern for most listeners, but this is something to consider if you have a preference for bass and percussion. This isn't a dealbreaker but the sound quality is the best at high volumes (> 80%). Thankfully the ear pads are soft and comfortable. But wearing these for several hours at > 80% volume is definitely not recommended for the sake of ear health (which is obvious common sense for any headphones). My main deal breaker is I can hear more from my right ear. I wore the headphones backwards and could hear more from my left ear. The stereos are slightly angled, so the sound is the clearest when my ears are closer to the stereos. Regardless of how I wear it or what I listen to, I still can hear more from one ear. I checked my settings and nothing looks off. Other than that, I recommend the headphones for the A+ sound quality, 60 hour battery life, exceptional ANC, and comfortable ear pads.

As a long-time devotee of Bose accessories, I was hesitant to stray from my comfort zone. However, after more than a month with the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones, I'm happy to report that I'm a convert. These headphones deliver a compelling combination of superb sound quality, effective noise cancellation, and impressive comfort, making them a worthy contender in the premium headphone market. A Bose User's Perspective: I've been using the Momentum 4 Wireless for 8 hours a day for meetings, music, and everything in between. The comfort level is outstanding. I can wear them for my entire workday without any discomfort. This is a huge plus for me, as someone who spends a lot of time on conference calls and listening to music. Pros: Superb Sound Quality: Sennheiser's audio expertise shines through. The sound is well-balanced, with clear highs, rich mids, and punchy bass. Whether I'm listening to classical music or podcasts, the audio is immersive and enjoyable. Effective Noise Cancellation: The adaptive noise cancellation effectively silences the world around me, allowing me to focus on my work or lose myself in my music. The ability to adjust the level of noise cancellation is a welcome feature. Long Battery Life: With up to 60 hours of playtime, I can go days without needing to recharge. This is a significant advantage over my previous headphones. Comfortable Fit: The lightweight design and plush earcups provide exceptional comfort, even during extended use. Intuitive Controls: The touch controls are responsive and easy to use, allowing me to adjust volume, playback, and noise cancellation seamlessly. Cons: Design: While functional, the design is less stylish compared to the previous generation and my Bose headphones. App Experience: The Sennheiser Smart Control app can be a bit finicky at times. I've experienced occasional connectivity issues. No Folding Design: The lack of a folding design makes them a bit less compact for travel. Overall: The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones have won me over with their exceptional sound quality, effective noise cancellation, and remarkable comfort. While the design and app could be improved, the overall performance is outstanding. If you're looking for a premium pair of headphones and prioritize audio quality and comfort, these are definitely worth considering. Recommendation: If you value sound quality, comfort, and long battery life, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless are an excellent choice. Even for a die-hard Bose fan like myself, these headphones deliver a compelling experience that's hard to beat.

I bought these headphones from Best Buy a few weeks ago( a nice sale at $100 off) and I’m glad I did, the sound quality is superb!! The headphones are pretty lightweight and very comfortable for long periods of wear, nothing compares to these bad boys in one area and that’s battery life( 60 hours) I’ve had them 2 weeks and now and only charged them once. The design is nice and sturdy, not Air Pods Max quality build but for a plastic build very good. The App to set sounds and customization is pretty clean and well organized.. My only complaint about them would be they are a little on the quiet side compared to others out there, so if you want ear splitting sound than these will not be for you, but the quality of sound and bass are exquisite, overall these headphones are great and I’m glad I bought them over some of the others I was looking at.

I fly around for work a lot. Constantly in and out of airplanes, switching between my phone and my android tablet. These headphones last for over ten hours easy, charge incredibly fast and the ANC is killer. I can switch between my devices fast without any connection issues. The sound quality is really clear and isn't overly bassy. It responds well to EQ settings. I have big ol' Dumbo ears and these are incredibly comfortable during my 4 hour flights and I don't sweat with them on. I highly recommend these

I love the good quality sound these headphones have for all genres, instruments and frequencies. I have never once felt the need or urge to add extra bass or play with the eq settings. I think what makes the Sennheiser headphones sound better than others like the sony is that the quality of the bass is coming from the 42mm transducer and not from eq or some software trick. By relying more on the hardware than an eq sound signature I am able to enjoy very realistic natural sounding vocals and instruments. I hate EQ'ing because whenever I fix one instrument or sound I end up messing up another sound like the vocals. The soundstage is really nice. I like the direction, separation and distance I am able to hear with instruments rather than it sounding like it's coming from my head. They are very comfortable. The only problem I have after wearing them for a long time is that my ears started feeling warm. I haven't had any problems with the app or connectivity but it would be nice if it didn't take so long to connect to the app. The noise canceling works very well. I am not usually in noisy environments but it arrived right before construction work was being done in the parking lot at my apartment. Everything worked the way it was supposed to and I would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone who likes music, makes phone calls, or wants to escape noisy environments.

These Sennheiser headphones have been a great buy. The sound is clean and balanced with strong detail, so music, podcasts, and calls all come through clearly without anything feeling muddy. They get plenty loud, and the audio quality stays crisp even at higher volume. Comfort is another big win. I can wear them for long stretches without pressure points, and they feel secure without being too tight. Battery life has been reliable, and pairing is quick and stable. If you want headphones that sound great, feel premium, and you can actually wear all day, Sennheiser delivers.

When I was searching for a high-quality pair of headphones for my office, I scoured the market until I found these. My requirements were clear: good sound quality, Bluetooth connectivity, noise-cancelling capabilities, and long battery life. These headphones tick all the boxes, although the noise-cancelling could be improved. Nonetheless, I would choose these headphones over Bose or Apple any day due to their superior sound quality, which was my top priority (by the way, I listen death metal and classic music). The battery life is exceptional; I haven't had to charge them more than once a week, even though I use them daily. They're incredibly comfortable, and the touch controls are a really neat feature. For the price, you won't find anything better than these headphones.

I had been waiting to get these for a while, and expected good things, and I was NOT disappointed! I love these headphones! The battery life lasted me through several days of moderate use. They didn’t hurt my ears or head despite extended use, and felt very light. I wore them in the airport and airplane - I had never though much of any active noise cancelling software before. But WOW. I didn’t realise how well these were working until I took them off. The ANC was great! My parents said my voice came through crystal clear even when I called them from the busy airport. But most importantly - the sound! I was comparing these to another pair of headphones my dad had gotten, in a range just below this, and the bass on these was so much better. Instead of loud and overpowering, it was fuller. Almost like comparing when someone who sounds intelligent speaks after someone who was just loud about their opinion. The professional quality just came through. It was… right. I wish the headphones had come with a power supply - if you get these you’ll want to make sure you have something that can charge USB-C.

If you love good music but don't want to get bogged down in technical audio jargon, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones are an absolute dream. The sound quality is incredible—everything from acoustic tracks to heavy basslines sounds rich, crisp, and beautifully clear, without that muddy, muffled sound you get from cheaper headphones. You can actually hear the separate instruments, and the vocals sound like the singer is right there in the room with you. But the real kicker is the battery life. At a whopping 60 hours on a single charge, I can use them every day for weeks or take them on a long trip without ever worrying about bringing a charging cable. For anyone who just wants their favorite playlists to sound amazing without constantly checking the battery icon, these are worth every penny.

The build quality on these headphones is absolutely great and does not feel like plastic, the cups and the band are also really comfortable and nice. The sound cancellation has room for improvement but its nothing short of good. What these headphones really shine in is their sound quality, one of the best i’ve experienced from mid budget headphones. The range of the sound and 3D quality is really great, and can of course be adjusted in the app. However I do have some trouble using the touch controls on the headphones sometimes. Overall some really great sounding headphones.

Absolutely love these headphones — the sound quality is rich and balanced, with deep bass and crisp highs that make music, podcasts, and movies sound amazing. The adaptive noise cancellation works great in busy places, and the battery life is insane (up to ~60 hours). They’re super comfy for long sessions. A few people mention touch control quirks, but overall they’re a premium buy worth it.

These are by far the beast headphones I have acquired. Feature rich, wired and wireless operation, amazing battery life . Touch controls , sound is phenomenal super comfortable over prolonged use

I've had these headphones for a month now, and my biggest impression is how satisfied I am with the battery life. I've only charged them once so far, and the standby time is incredibly long. Another thing I'm very happy with is how easy it is to connect to devices; you can almost just pick them up and use them. When you're not using them, you can just leave them there, and when you want to use them again, they automatically connect to your device. You don't even need to turn them off during this process, making them super convenient to use. The sound quality is no different from the X5, but these headphones have stronger bass, making them great for listening to music. So far, I'm very satisfied with these headphones and would recommend them to friends. The black color is also very nice. In terms of weight, I feel it's a bit heavy, which might not be suitable for women, but it's fine in winter. This is the only thing I'm not entirely satisfied with. I think it's a sacrifice made to increase battery life, but I can still accept its weight.

Sound quality is phenomenal. Super comfortable for long listening. The charge last forever, I’ve used mine daily for multiple hours on end, and only needed to charge once in 3 months! Only (very picky) critique is that the sound seems to come out of one ear more than the other.

The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones in white offer an exceptional listening experience with their adaptive noise-cancellation and over-the-ear design. The audio quality is rich, with a balanced sound profile that caters to various genres. The noise-cancellation effectively blocks out external disturbances, allowing for immersive music sessions or focused work. The sleek white design adds a touch of elegance, while the comfortable over-the-ear fit ensures extended usage without discomfort. The controls are intuitive and responsive, offering convenient playback and call management. The battery life is impressive, lasting for extended periods, and the quick charge feature is a lifesaver for on-the-go users. However, the price point might be a consideration for some, as they are positioned in the higher-end range of wireless headphones. Nevertheless, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones deliver on their promise of premium audio quality, comfort, and effective noise-cancellation, making them a solid choice for audiophiles and music enthusiasts.

I've had these for about a week now and they're pretty great. Ear pads are big enough to not cause ear fatigue or mess with piercings, they're cute, no real complaints save for the touch controls being a hair finnicky. Could just be lack of muscle memory on my part, maybe that'll become less of an issue as we get to know eachother better.

I’ve had these Sennheiser momentum 4 headphones for a week or two now and I will tell you this they are the best headset I own I had heard really good things about Sennheiser before, but I didn’t believe the hype. I’m here to tell you. It’s all very true. the headphones come with a 3.5 mm jack and the cord in the case as well USB Type C and Bluetooth functionality. I use all three of them. I’ve used this for gaming. I’ve used this for video production like audio production. The microphone on these is fantastic for my voice. It makes it sound bright and crisp and clear for video gaming. I play a lot of Fortnite and Call of Duty. and it makes it easier to hear where everybody is in a balanced way while also hearing the game soundtrack and hear everything else too. In the music, you can hear everything so balanced, and you hear such instruments that you’ve never heard in the song before, but that we’re always there. These things are the best headphones I’ve ever had that I can remember, and I’ve had all kinds of headphones. If you name it I’ll probably had it. These have replaced pretty much every other headset I have except for my AirPods and my Galaxy Buds when I’m away from home or if I just wanna listen to an audiobook, I might grab those or if I’m gonna be outside in the rain because those are water resistant where the Sennheiser headset is not but I mean for audio production Sennheiser is amazing The audio clarity and quality in the midst and the highs as well as the lows is perfect. The microphone is so good on it too. It’s like an embedded microphone. It’s not one of the traditional microphones like you get on a gaming headset, but it makes my voice sound so good and so bright and clear for when I’m doing a voice for a video production whether that be for a voiceover or like a character voice it’s really the best microphone I’ve ever heard from my voice and I have a podcast style microphone that just doesn’t make my voice sound as good. I have a deep voice so it’s a big ask to get a microphone to keep that depth but also to make it bright and you know have range but this is amazing. I would say these were worth every penny even if they were twice the price thank you so much Sennheiser and thank you Best Buy. These were the best headsets I’ve bought for over the ear headphones
