The lamp is ok. Nothing wrong with it per say. I think I was expecting something of a bit higher quality given the price though. First off it's very light and it tends to slide around on the wooden coffee table I have it placed on. Like, even the slightest nudge sends it sliding. I guess the picture just make it look sturdier? Also, I ordered a brown lamp, it's got a white cord on it that sticks out like a sore thumb. It's just kind of out of place. The shade doesn't want to seem to fasten on tightly either so it rattles a bit when it moves (which happens a lot, see paragraph #1). All in all, it's a regrettable purchase. I'll be looking to replace/upgrade soon.

My Simple Designs-1 Light Tear Drop Table Lamps were perfect. They were just the right size, design and color for my room. They arrived on time and undamaged. I wish that they were 60 watts, instead of 40 watts. But its fine. They create a nice warm, ambience.
