Sly & the Family Stone were a big act in the late '60s and early '70s but sadly you never hear anyone talk about them anymore. It's a shame because this Greatest Hits package deserves to be listened to and then people will understand why they were as popular as they once were. Highly recommended and is at a pretty good price, to boot.

One of my favorite albums of all time! Had the original album on cassette tape years ago. My wife purchased this album as a Christmas present, knowing I'm now listening to my vinyl records more often. Great audiophile collectable.

If you want an album that encompasses the best of Sly and the Family Stone. You need to check this out. Will keep your toes tapping long after the album is over.

Great songs from a classic group in a quality classic format; LP Album.

Sly Stone actually had super bassist Larry Graham in the band representing the Family Stone that was pure genius and a once in a life time phenomenon.

Good quality transfer to 180 gram vinyl. All of Sly’s hits on one LP. I have a larger selection of the band on a CD but was overcome with nostalgia when I saw this in the bins. Sounds even better than I remembered. Some things belong on vinyl, this being one. Highly recommended.

This is a party on a platter. All the tracks are stellar, and the 180 gram vinyl presents the music as it was intended to be heard.

Excellent EU made reissue of the 1970 Sly & the Family Stone compilation. Original yellow labels (but sadly no gatefold). You could find better anthologies of the group, but not a better 1-disc fix to get u higher! Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)!

Great overview of the hits! A great place to start with Sly and the gang. I would recommend this compilation as a stepping STONE for further purchases from their musical catalog!

Last group I saw live before I was converted to "heavy metal" by seeing Black Sabbath when touring for self titled 1st album. Still love the music of Sly though.

Amazing album from the early seventies,if you like stevie wonder songs in the key of life, Edgar winter group or three dog night you will love this album.

What can I say Sly & The Family Stone is one of the old time greats. “Everyday people” is as relevant today as it was back then.

This album was flat and plays well. A good copy if you just want a greatest hits LP.
