Small speaker with huge amazing sound.
Been using this amazing speaker for almost a year now. It is super powerful and can give off sound that you can hear half a mile away. While it's a little bit heavy. I still say it well worth it. Great price. Great sound and super tough. It's been dropped one time hard from my arm to concrete and it still work like a champ. So to my shock. It doesn't break so easy either. You can also get it a little bit wet as well. Nothing crazy. But still cool.

Great speaker!
Love this speaker! This unit has taken up permanent residence at my outdoor pool. I swim three hours a day for exercise, and this speaker provides music and time checks from my phone to keep me swimming on schedule. It is waterproof so it stays out rain or shine, hot or cold, and provides powerful, clean audio for great music at all times. Battery strong, great bass response, easy to connect to Bluetooth. Highly recommended.

Best Speaker I’ve purchased!!! The sounds is incredible, able to play it very very loud, charging port is placed in a convenient place, the lights when the music plays is beautiful! Has buttons to let u kno how much battery left button for connecting and it connects very quick!

Great sound quality, easy to use, and holds a charge really well. I would give it 5 stars, but you have to unplug the aux cable for Bluetooth to work -- unacceptable extra step that I would consider before buying again.

I love this speaker. Sound quality is great and the light show is entertaining. I have the XB33 and XB23 as well. Pairing can be tricky, but works well once you get the hang of it.

Remember old school where you bought bigger & bigger speakers for better & better sound. Well those days are long gone. You can buy smaller bluetooth speakers than this for shoving in your pocket but for that big sound in your living room or a party speaker on the beach or outdoors, this is it. Sound quality & volume to rival the best of the big old school speakers. Looks smart on the TV stand. And so easy to use. Just select a playlist from your phone. Waterproof & rinseable (to remove sand, etc)

I love the speaker has a usb c charger port which is great. Excellent sound quality and can pair to multiple devices. The app for it works great and it can pair with multiple Sony speakers for even better sound. So happy only will recommend this one to others and the bass sound perfect with the tweeters help with the voice..

I freaking love this bluetooth speaker. It was so easy to set up and downloading the app with the QR code was simple. The speakers are very responsive and the bass can be felt. I am currently breaking them in and loving it.

As a Sony product holder, I’ve found quality across their market. This hefty speaker is no exception. It produces great sound from such a little speaker, for its size, moreover. It plays most types of music with clarity and a bassy punch. Like most speakers, in this spectrum, there is an acceptable amount of bass distortion at higher volumes. What’s nice, is that to get more volume, in all senses of the word, is to add/party speakers for larger areas. I’ve used this while on the deck grilling/entertaining and while working from home. I have had no issues with pairing to my devices and highly recommended this for entry level sound (less than $500). The ambient light feature makes it easy to remember that it is on and prevents it from being left outside to weather nighttime storms. Speaking of which, I have not tested it’s waterproof IP67 rating, but seems very well sealed. This replaced a sound link mini II and I’m happy with the upgrade.

Love this speaker

I bought this speaker had it 2 days and suddenly the lights quit working but the speaker still worked. After returning it and receiving the replacement speaker it’s been working great, fingers crossed it’s only been a little over two weeks. Prior to this I owned the smaller version and had no issues but it just doesn’t have bass like it’s sister.

Exactly what I hoped for

So far, I am very happy with this Sony speaker. The bass is more than adequate for my ears & the separate tweeters improve vocal clarity. I don't use the extra bass function for my normal listening (classic rock, jazz, classical & spoken word) but it seems to be sufficiently boomy. One thing this speaker doesn't have is any sort of handle or grip area. Given this speaker's size (13" x 5" & 6.5#) I would heartily recommend an aftermarket carrying case and some kind of strap to reduce the chances of dropping it. My picture below shows a nylon strap I got for about $25 on Ebay. Amazon also has various rubber straps. I also like the water/dust resistance as I plan on using it outdoors this summer. I probably won't use is the LED lighting feature but I did try it & it seemed to be bright enough to be seen in most lighting situations.

Sony bass with a heavy weight fix.

Sony Sony Sony, well well well again they come out with a new speaker series for the next generation. It’s very heavy and packs a bunch of bass but here it is. You can only pair alike speakers which means you have to buy more to make a bigger sound. It’s cool because it has a bunch of cool specials but it’s very heavy and hard to lug around. Buy the smaller one to have one to carry around. I bought this and small one just to have surround sound. Don’t buy at full price wait till it almost half price when on sale and it will be worth it.
