I recently purchased the Sony ZV-1 II, and I can confidently say it’s the best investment I’ve made for my content creation journey. This camera is the perfect blend of portability, performance, and professional-grade features. Pros: 1. Amazing Image Quality: The 1.0-type sensor delivers crystal-clear photos and videos with vibrant colors and sharp details. 2. Perfect for Vlogging: The wide 18-50mm zoom lens is fantastic for capturing dynamic shots, whether I’m indoors or out exploring. The bokeh effect adds a cinematic touch to my videos. 3. Unbeatable Autofocus: Sony’s real-time Eye Autofocus and subject tracking are incredibly fast and accurate. It locks onto my face even in challenging lighting! 4. Compact & Lightweight: It’s so small, I can carry it everywhere in my bag or pocket, but it still packs a punch in terms of features. 5. User-Friendly Design: The flip-out screen, easy-to-navigate menus, and customizable controls make it beginner-friendly while still offering advanced options for pros. 6. Amazing Sound: The built-in microphone is surprisingly high-quality, and the included windscreen ensures my audio is clean, even on breezy days. Cons: Battery life could be better, but with a spare battery or power bank, it’s manageable. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced creator, the ZV-1 II has everything you need. The Best Vlog Camera of 2023

If you're looking for a Vlogging camera, travel camera, or looking to capture more video clips of friends and family for memories sake and want to get a step above mobile phone quality, this camera is an excellent choice. I purchased this camera along side my larger Sony camera as a b-cam for Vlogging and it has been amazing to use. The wider lens is perfect for vlogs or even just photos with friends and family. It's so small and portable, but most importantly the quality of the 4k footage is so good that you can hardly notice which camera I'm using in my videos. I also love the quality of the mics - it sounds great. This camera also has a ton of new features that the more expensive Sony camera's have. Things light skin softening (I use it on low), product show case, amazing AF speeds, touch screen with quick menu buttons which I find so convenient. Overall, really love the camera size and quality, it's a beast in your pocket! My only criticism is that the zoom is a bit loud. So just keep in mind if you're recoding and zoom in, you'll hear it in your video. It's not a deal break for me but just something to note.

I have been thinking about whether getting this or the zv1. Watched a bunch of review videos about the M2 and how it’s better than the previous releases. It’s the wider lens that made me get this. Yes, you can always buy wide lens as an attachment, but as a content creator, I would want something that’s simple to use. I’m not a pro in cameras, as a newbie, it was really easy to navigate. If you’re still deciding which one to get, GET THIS!

I bought this camera for something that was a higher quality than my phone but more portable than my mirrorless camera. This has fit the bill perfectly. Be sure to pick up extra batteries or a battery bank if you plan to shoot all day.

the perfect vlogging camera

this camera changed my life. i’ve been wanting to vlog & document my life for a while and finally invested in my dreams! i love the skin blur affect, perfect for when i’m not wearing makeup. the zv1 Mii is amaIng if you want a wide angle lense to capture more compared to the zoomed in original zv1. it’s more of a vlogging/video camera instead of a photo camera. only downside…there is no flash. you will have to add an external flash/light if you want. but over all i take it everywhere with me. buy extra batteries with a charging station on amazon because the battery life is only about 30min!! but the actual camera itself is the best thing i’ve ever done. 10/10 recommend to all my vloggers!! chase your dreams!!

4.5/5. It’s honestly a really great camera. I bought it as open box - good conditions and it’s been about two months and I’ve not had any problems. It just didn’t come with a charger. The video performance is spectacular. Still working out the photography part. Only downside is how quickly the battery dies. Hopefully Sony catches up on that. I’ve bought extra batteries and keep 2-3 with me in case but normally don't use more than 2 batteries a full day of filming.

Excellent camera! I sold my Canon Powershot G7X MII to get this one. I’ve heard great reviews and yes this camera does exactly that. The resolution is much clearer and crisp, functions are easier to manage, and the audio outputs much clearer. A pretty penny but a 10/10 investment. Great company!

Best camera ever for beginners content creators. It’s very easy to use and great features. If you have a 15 and up with the new c charger you can connect the camera straight to your phone only using the charger wire and have you pictures and videos that easy.

The quality you get out of this somewhat affordable "Vlog Camera" is sometimes ALMOST on par with professional footage you might see in a movie or commercial. Although the zoom is terrible, I'm still loving this camera! Great Value!

Fantastic camera for starting a video channel. I looked at all the reviews and it seemed that experienced vloggers really liked the ZV-1 but they had a few complaints, which now it seems that this updated model the ZV-M2 addresses. Setup is super easy, just take note that microSD cards need an adapter, this needs an SD card.
