Received, hooked up and initially it took a while to make ice. Once up to temp it makes ice. It also makes too much noise. Silient till it goes into "freeze mode"??? Otherwise its this constant sound. Makes me wonder when it will shoot craps and stop working. Paint on too from powder coat is bubbled as well. We bought the $119 geek squad, so hopefully get our monies worth.

The unit seemed to be working okay but it was missing parts when it arrived. I called Best Buy to get the missing parts and they directed me to Sunpentown. Basically, after many emails back and forth plus numerous phone calls they never sent the part. I had to return the unit. The parts missing were the plastic bushing that held the door in place but without them the door was not straight and you had to lift it to close. The unit made ice fine but the fan was VERY load. You could here it running throughout the whole house. I had the same issue with lack of support on one of SPT freezers. Basically, if you get a unit that is complete and doesn't break you will be fine. But if for any reason you need to contact the manufacture you will be out of luck. Both items I purchased had to be returned due very poor customer service from Sunpentown so I will never recommend or buy there products again.

Love this little icemaker! So far it's an answer to exactly what I need (and my ice-chewing pup) The production is great, easy to operate, love the size....we're happy campers!

Fit perfectly under my cabinet. Easy water hook up makes enough ice for all 5 family members. Yes I would recommend.

We are very pleased with our new ice machine. We put it on a stand in the laundry room instead of under the kitchen counter because we had already ordered our cabinets. Now we have ice from the refrigerator ice maker for every day use and large amounts for parties too!

This ice maker is great. Makes ice really quick. I have issues with ice that smells the freezer, yuk. This allows for ice with no smells. Great for the price.

Very good product. I purchased this for my office which on that particular floor the pantry services over 100 employees. I haven't had any issues with the Ice machine.

I love this machine. I find today that I need the manual to troubleshoot. After to a normal defrost which I do about 3 times a year it has failed to make ice.. I just turn the switch off and remove the ice bucket and place a large bath towel where I removed the ice bucket from with the door open. When it has completed defrosting I finish by wiping the walls and base dry and replacethe ice bucket and turn it back on. I generally have some ice within 30 mintes. Today I have none. Thus I need a manual?

Does just what I wanted it to do. Makes 12lbs of ice in very short time.

Makes ice sooooo fast! Does need to be defrosted about every six months.

I thought by it saying freestanding or built in that I could set it on the counter and make ice (by using bottled water) but you have to have a water line connected. Nothing wrong with the product though! And I receied it very fast!

Man prices went up on these little units but it is a work horse!! Quieter and makes great moon shaped cubes with no connection to each other!! Great for filling your Yetti 64oz flask!

Looks nice. Size is a bit odd when compared to other undercounter appliances.

Was slow to produce ice initially but may have been related to having a total bathroom renovation and having air in the line. Now my ice container is always full.

Best purchase I've make in a while. Don't have to run for ice anymore.

First one leaked water causing one 2-3” cube of ice all over the bottom of the pan. My replacement is better but does leak. Still have the old one here in a box waiting for oh 2-3 weeks for them to come get it.
