About This Item

Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing of this album from the AOR/classic rock band. Originally released in 1977, The Grand Illusion became Styx's first Platinum selling album, powered by the singles InchCome Sail AwayInch and InchYour Fooling Yourself (Angry Young Man)Inch. Led by the talents of Dennis DeYoung (vocals/keyboards), Tommy Shaw (vocals/guitar), and James J.Y. Young (vocals/guitar), Styx became one of the most successful FM/Arena Rock bands in the U.S. during the latter half of the '70's and into the early '80's. With brothers Chuck (bass/vocals) and John Panozzo (drums), the band ruled the airwaves for a decade before their split in '84. DeYoung's distinct vocals and pop oriented material worked well against Shaw's edgier material, garnering the band important airplay on FM and AM radio stations. Album Tracks 1. The Grand Illusion 2. Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man) 3. Superstars 4. Come Sail Away 5. Miss America 6. Man in the Wilderness 7. Castle Walls 8. The Grand Finale

Tedeschi Trucks Band - I Am The Moon: II. Ascension - VINYL LP
      5.0(1)

The fifth studio project from the Tedeschi Trucks Band, is the most ambitious and, at the same time, intimate record that America's best rock'n'roll big band has ever made a genuinely epic undertaking in four episodes and 24 songs inspired by classical literature but emotionally driven by the immediate drama, isolation and mourning of the pandemic era. LP Album Tracks 1. Playing with My Emotions 2. Ain't That Something 3. All the Love 1. So Long Savior 2. Rainy Day 3. La Di Da 4. Hold That Line

      JJ - JJ N 3 - VINYL LP

With the naive swagger of youth, JJ have already completed their next full-length. If no 2 was (as it was to many) the quintessential summer 2009 album, no 3 is destined to be the quintessential winter 2010 album, a soft, red smear of blood on a field of fresh snow. JJ create R&B and Balearic dub from the ghosts of lost lovers; pop as delicate as a fawn's nose across blades of frosted grass. It is the soundtrack for friends packed into the town square's tiniest tavern, their moon tanned, apple-cheeked faces glowing, their dilated pupils filled with all the meaning and meaninglessness of a magic 8-ball. Their music is both carefree without carelessness, and self-aware without being self-conscious. With it, they build an ice bridge arching from Gothenburg into the heart of middle America, and everywhere in between. Album Tracks 1. My Life 2. And Now 3. Let Go 4. Into the Light 5. Light 6. Voi Parlate, Io Gioco 7. Golden Virginia 8. You Know 9. I Know 10. No Escapin' This
