The SVS PB16-Ultra is an absolute monster in the best way possible. Out of the box it’s massive, but the build quality is top-notch and setup was straightforward. Once dialed in, the performance is on another level — deep, room-shaking bass with incredible control and accuracy. Explosions in movies hit with chest-pounding impact, yet it still manages to sound clean and tight for music without any boominess. The SVS app makes adjustments super easy, letting you fine-tune EQ, volume, and port modes right from your phone. I’ve paired it with a high-end receiver and Atmos setup, and this sub brings the whole system alive. Yes, it’s a big investment, but if you want reference-level bass that’s both powerful and precise, the PB16-Ultra is worth every penny. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a Polk Audio sub that faithfully served me for years, and a few months ago it decided that enough was enough and poof - dead. I replaced it with what I thought was an excellent sub - the Definitive Technology SuperCube 4000. That sub was nice for what it was, good bass in a small package. However when I watched Wonder Woman 1984 at the bass level I wanted - it couldn't make it to the 1.25 hour mark without cutting out badly. Believe me, when you spend $$$ you don't want to be disappointed but that's what I was - disappointed. So - returned it and bought the SVS PB4000. Really, this subwoofer has no equal. To compare it to the Def Tech SC4000 would be like comparing a candle to a flame thrower. It's not just the endless bass, but it's the depth of the bass (13hz response) and the power behind it. If you are looking for the best and don't want to spend money and feel disappointed - buy this. I have high demands on my Home Theater system and this completely satisfied my bass requirements. Only 'negative' is the physical size (and weight I suppose), but even though it weighs nearly 200lbs it can easily be moved. It's finding a place that it blends in with that can be challenging...and it can look like a mini refrigerator but if you remove the front grille that eliminates that 'problem' if you think it looks like another appliance. Overall, super satisfied and can't wait to watch other new movies on this beast. It's definitely not inexpensive, but often times you really get what you pay for. And when you buy this and it arrives, you won't think for a second that your money was wasted.

Smooth as silk with more power and authority than I imagined. It’s sitting in a large open area with 3 joining rooms and a 22’ ceiling. It still had to more than enough power. Calibration resulted in a 22 db decrease. You can still hear and feel the bass with No flutter. Wonderful

What a POWER HOUSE!!! So much power that I has to dial it down. Beautiful craftsmanship you can never go wrong with SVS.

The PB 16 ultra subwoofer packs one heck of a punch in my home theatre setup. So far there hasn’t been anything that it can’t handle. I also have two PB 3000s and though they are beautiful sounding they often reach a limit where I have to turn them down because of over excursion. The PB 16 ultra has yet to reach that point with even the most demanding of bass soundtracks. I will be definitely be looking to purchase another one after paying off the one that I have.

Ever thought, I want bass in my house, like those cars that are about to rattle apart? Look no further. This subwoofer will move some air, and get down to sub frequencies that are felt in the seat of your chair. It should come with liquid nails and foam pads, to put on and behind everything that's about to start buzzing from the intense bass in your house. Luckily, I already had some..

SvS and others have this for $2199. Not sure why BBY still selling for full price. Even the new PB17 is only $100 more on BBY. Makes no sense.

Have a room you can fill or blow out your windows."which will make room for this Monster Subwoofer To Breath" You can tune the ports to get the 16hZ to 18hZ you are looking for. the only drawback is this Subwoofer does take a lot of area. if you have the room and the sound treatments to prevent bad resonance, this is for you. It sounds best elevated off the floor. But at nearly 200 lbs. how do you do this. I bought 4 pneumatic casters, some additional isolation rubber and this unit is now 8" higher and I can move it anywhere. When the wife is not around. Clean, and I mean Clean Low End Bass. replaced my Infinity HPS 1000 for this unit. 20 years of the HPS. Ah what a great Subwoofer. But it can't hold a candle to this unit. The SVS is Twice the size which is a bummer. But I have the Room for the Bass and the room of the Sub. So for me it's a Win / Win. Except for the wife. We've been married for 35 years. She expects better but keeps coming up with me. Love the Sub and Love the Wife for putting up with me.

Hot darn! Is all I can say. Definitely gives me movie theater feel from just one behind the couch using the wireless sound path hook up. I upgraded from a Klipsch SPL-150 sub which was a quality sub but I wanted more power for just a little more money. If you get it you wouldn’t be disappointed.

This sub is awesome, but way to large. I went with dual PB-3000s which in my opinion sounds better than one Ultra.

You really cant put into words. I can run my 2 pb2000's full volume tuned and them not be as loud as the 16 ultra. The 16 ultra picks up so much more punch the 2000's left out. Its amazing
