About This Item

Originally hailing from Detroit, Michigan – sisters Esther, Gloria and Gracie Ridgeway were highly sought after session singers who became known as The Ridgeway Sisters. Primarily a Soul / R&B group, the sisters were highly versatile and sang all types of music from Gospel to Jazz, Blues and Hip Hop, Classical, and even Country Western. As Sweet Cream, the sisters released their first album Sweet Cream And Other Delights in 1978, the cover art a parody of Herb Alpert’s hit album “Whipped Cream & Other Delights.” Originally released in 1978, the original vinyl is sought out among collectors not only for the cover art but for the funky blend of soul and disco that seemed to jump from its grooves. The original album is presented here newly remastered. Album Tracks 1. I Don't Know What I'd Do (If You Ever Left Me) 2. Pretty Little Black Boy 3. You Brought Joy 4. Flyin' High 5. Do a Dance for Love 6. We're Not Gonna Make It 7. Skunk Funk 8. Disco, Dance and Party 9. I Don't Know What I'd Do (If You Ever Left Me) [12' Version] 10. Do a Dance for Love (12' Version) 11. Pretty Little Black Boy (7' Version) 12. I Don't Know What I'd Do (If You Ever Left Me) [7' Version] 13. Do a Dance for Love (7' Version)
