My review of this tv. Pros: It's size is super nice! Love the Mini Led/ Qled combo with the dimming controllers Dolby vision and Atmos!!! True 120 hertz It's Roku built in. Picture quality looks amazing when you dial it in! Adjustable legs. Further in or further out. Cable management is a plus with the legs. Gaming is amazing!!! Low input lag! Cons: Issues with the speakers.. acts too sensitive or dull. Had to reset the tv a few times for that The 120hertz is super nice but don't have it on during the main menu on Roku. Made my eyes hurt trying to figure that one. It was the LED Clarity that caused it. Heavyweight! This tv is no joke! It's heavy as hell! Issues with Dolby Atmos and sound adjustment when watching Disney plus. Managed to figure that out online. Adjusted to it when I'm loading Disney plus. It's a great TV. It's new from TCL! It's going to have some slight issues until they patch it. I owned another 6 series, it too was new with some nice things. Had it for 3 years and still love it and own it. This tv is wonderful. It's worth buying if you know what you are getting into. I am a little picky with my things and this review explains it.

Excellent picture, Roku tv’s are the easiest to stream all the different platforms. We opted for the 65” and had it mounted but it does have two feet positions so can stand on a smaller stand or sideboard or can be closer to the ends. I would buy again.

Great Tv, have had it for over a year now and works wonderfully. The screen is bright, it’s loud, movies and shows look really good and colors really pop on the screen. The only downside I can say would be the UI can be a bit slow or laggy at times.

This TV is excellent value for the money. It has mini-LEDs (something Samsung and LG are only introducing in 2021 models) and QLED technology. The picture quality is great, my wife really loves it, thinks it a great purchase. I've owned Sharp, Samsung, and Sony over the years, and think this TCL can compete against the very best. I'd highly recommend, and also recommend the TCL iPQ Mobile Calibration App for Androids/iPhones, so you can calibrate it even further!

Very satisfied with this tv and the TCL wireless sound bar we bought with it. Looks and sounds great. It’s a good value! Be sure to update the remote because it does not work well before the update and I thought it was the batteries. After the update it worked perfect. Setup is easy and quick. Strongly recommend!

I'm NOT a reviewer just a regular TV user and buyer! First of All, This is an Amazing TV!! Set up is fast and simple. Colors are bright and true to their code. Blacks are blacks not grey or foggy. Roku platform is easy to use The quality of this TV is just about an Oled tv. You Will NOT be disappointed.! The manufacturing of this tv was done with excellence for a lot less than an lg or samsung. Very pleased with the quality and performance of this tv. Couldn't be Happier!!!

Got a good deal on the open box model that was geek squad certified. Purchased the extended warranty just in case. Glad I did because it started going out 3 months later. Started having lines going through screen. Every time you turned the tv on you would have to smack it and then it would start working. But it because very flaky. I really wanted this TV because the picture quality was excellent and I love the Roku platform. Unfortunately BestBuy wouldn’t replace the tv they would only give me credit toward another tv based on my purchase price. Glad I was able to recover me initial cost but really bummed that the TV itself wasn’t covered. Purchased a Samsung smart TV with webOS since it was on sale for the same amount as my credit but the webOS platform is really clunky compared to the Roku and the picture isn’t as good as the TCL. Wish I could have just swapped my TCL tv but it was good while it lasted.

Great tv for the price especially. Sometimes I find the screen is to bright, but that's an easy ajustment in the menu settings. The colors are impressive and the built in Dolby speakers sound like a sound bar. I find my self not even using my sound bar now. I love the adjustable foot stand as well. My TV stand wasn't that wide an I was worried the TV wouldn't fit. No worries you can put the feet in the middle section of your tv like a universal stand and it works great. There is no auto ajustment so you do have to adjust in the menu your self alot if you want a certain picture quality for sports or movies etc. Anyway I would recommend this product to others.

Great TV the second time around. 1st tv was a Google TV. Pixel issues within a few months. No issues with the Roku though.

Great TV while it worked but 2 1/2 years in and it's already got lines and dots on it and needs to be replaced. I'd probably look for a higher quality TV that will last longer.

An absolutely amazing TV for a great price. Picture quality is fantastic and the refresh rate is perfect. Roku stick makes it so easy. So glad we made the purchase. It's been 1 month and we are still in love with the TV. Syncs perfectly to our soundbar thru the ARC port. (Back light in the photo was purchased separately but conveniently uses the TV's USB port for its power.) A must buy!

Ok, I've owned this TV for 14 months now. At first I was blown away by the picture and the clarity and even the sound. Every long once in a while the local dimming would essentially go haywire and all zones would flash on and off. A restart always fixed it and it was so rare I never really worried about it, after all modern smart TVs are essentially computers. Fast forward to last month (13 months after purchase) suddenly it happens all the time. Multiple times a day, requires an unplug for 5 minutes type of reboot to fix it each time. Happens on different apps, happens on the home screen, happens when using inputs. I contacted TCL, went through troubleshooting. Factory reset, picture settings reset, turned off local dimming on inputs, firmware is up to date, and it still happens. It was at this point, 4 emails in that TCL told me my tv is out of warranty and I'm welcome to take it to a shop and get it fixed. So I'm just out of luck it seems. A $1000 television is not their problem after 14 months when something in the tv itself goes bad. I've seen the issue around on forums and no one has a fix it seems. When it works it is a beautiful set, but the support has been a.huge disappointment. Buyer beware. I've attached some photos of it, but it's much more dramatic in video form. If you look closely at the background you can see the darker "squares" are local dimming zones changing rapidly and for no reason as that is a static background.

This TV looked great for a couple days, but then the screen started to develop a weird discoloration pattern. This was the second one to have this issue. The first one went bad and I thought "Okay, I must have gotten the bad apple", so I exchanged it for another. Same problem. This time I contacted TCL's support team. They were not helpful whatsoever, not to mention the time it took to get a response, that was basically useless. The response I received was, to put it simply, return it. Well, that's exactly what I am doing. I would not recommend this or any other TCL product to anyone.

Love this television, did my due diligence by comparing mini led to OLED and for the price the picture is amazing. I use the Roku interface on all my other tvs, either bluetooth or headphone jack on remote like other roku remotes would be a nice feature. Sound is good as well did not connect my soundbar that I previously used. One bonus was that the stand has 2 different mounting options as the posted dimensions were going to be very close to my stand but was able to use optional mounting holes giving a base width of 23".

After owning for 1 year, I can easily say this is one of the best tv’s out there for the price point. Is it the absolute best tv currently on the market? No, but for around $1k it delivers a ton of value. It has outstanding picture quality, has great sound and built in Roku makes it extremely user friendly. Only criticism is that I wish the remote wasn’t a basic Roku remote.

Great TV especially for the price. Great picture and roku is really good also.

Wonderful out of the box! No issues with viewing angle. There is a live TV section that gets you a ton of channels. I downgraded to basic cable and saves some money. Picture is great for Netflix and cable stations. Sound is good. I didn’t purchase a sound bar yet. Not sure if it’s needed.

Research this TV from the first 6 series and knew I wanted it but didn’t pull the trigger. Now that a 2022 version came out I snagged the 2020 version for almost half. It is everything I thought it was going to be for the price. You won’t be disappointed.
