I love my TheraFace, so I thought I would give the hot and cold rings a try. First of all, the rings do get hot or cold. It's amazing! The hot ring is a very pleasant heat on the face. The cold ring goes over the percussive piece that comes with the TheraFace (not included with this set). I find the cold ring more challenging to use with the percussive piece, and while cold, it's almost not cold enough for me (this is the reason for the 4-star rating) -- however, the combo of the cold and percussion feels nice on the face. Both rings come in a compact case for storage. I would recommend these rings if you want to expand the functionality of your TheraFace.

Straight out of the box these were super easy to add to the TheraFace. The How To videos provide instructions and benefits that are helpful to integrate to your everyday routine. The cold attachment felt as though it could replace any sort of ice roller. The hot roller was extremely relaxing, as if I was having some sort of massage. Both attachments come in one zip pouch which is nice and small for storage! Truly an amazing addition to the TheraFace product!

Love the product. My face is surprised and grateful. No red flush (rosacea) and great massage. Low price great quality. Must try for all ladies.

Great addition to the Thera face I originally was under the impression I would have to leave the cold ring in the freezer but to my surprise it did not need to be. I personally wish for slightly cooler and warmer temps.

I use the cooling one more often, and it feels so good on my face when i first wake up. It only stays cool for 2-3 minutes tops! The warming one is nice too, but the shape is awkward, so i dont use it quite as often.

I love using the cold ring as soon as I wake it quickly wakes my puffy eyes. However, I wish the ring itself was a full circle instead of the halves but I get why it was designed that way. This also heats up rather quickly, now i’m not certain if it is this product heating up or the motor on the TheraFace itself. Either way it becomes unpleasant when it goes from ice cold to warm before the auto timer even turns off.

Works great, but is SOOOO overpriced. Use both attachments quite often, and arguably I use these attachments almost exclusively while ignoring the ones that came with the original device. I think the company probably knew this, so just keep in mind that your 400 dollar device is actually 500. The only slight con is that the cold ring overheats on the side after using it for too long in consecutive sessions, but it's just simple physics. It's not a design flaw, and it doesn't really affect the usability of the product. Just don't expect to be able to use the cold ring for 20 minutes straight or something silly like that.

The hot cold attachment is a nice variation to the normal percussional heads that come with the original product. The only issue is that the cold attachment doesnt stay colder longer than 3 minutes, and then it overheats and becomes hotter than the hot attachment. I thought i had a faulty unit, so I exchanged it but was disappointed when it happened on the 2nd set. I ended up returning the entire unit since I was most excited about the cold attachment.

The heat is great and really soothing. The cool ring is only cool initially and I don't really use that one because of this. The surface is smooth and glides easily over your skin, feels great.

I feel like using the hot ring helps my expensive skin care products to absorb into my skin more effectively. Also, the heat function is soothing and penetrates deeply with three different heat settings on the device. The heat is soothing to tired eyes after a long day or puffy eyes in the morning. I haven't had an opportunity to use the cold ring setting yet, but I plan to as the weather warms up and I'm sure to get sunburned from time to time. I don't show myself much self love, but when I use the hot ring for a few minutes daily, I feel like I'm doing something really nice for myself and it makes me feel good emotionally and physically.

The cool ring is pretty amazing. Gets cold fast like magic. It feels good but I don’t find myself using it as much as I thought I would. Using the hot one even less.

It was such a nice little tool!! I enjoyed using it, the microcurrents was amazing!! I felt like the tool did its job. It uplifted my face, and kept it tight and clear. I did get the attachement and the cold ring stopped working after a couple of uses so i had to return it.

My girlfriend uses it every day, great investment for her

The attachments work well but the base of the child attachment gets hot.

Great add on that provides additional toning and wrinkle treatment.

Does what it says it does. It's like an at home spa whenever I want.

I am bot too sure how cold it get. I have to play with it more. The hot attachment does get really hot at 3 rd setting.

I dont know about the hot ring but the cold ring only gets cold for about a minute then starts getting hot. The base seems to overheat.

Had bought for my wife and at first she did not use it very often. However when I brought it up as a reminder, she started using all the different attributes and it became a real ritual of hers. Now it is a part of life for her. She had mentioned she would not have such vibrant skin without it!
