I purchased this product for a relative who has rheumatoid arthritis. Since its purchase, it has been used for relief from IT Band flare-ups, cramping on various parts of the body as well as post work recover. I definitely would recommend this item to a friend.

I’ve been using my new Theragun Sense, from Therabody, for a week now. This is my first ever experience with a Theragun and I had no idea what I was missing! Therabody, was created in 2008 by Dr. Jason Wersland, who invented the first ever hand-held massage device, after an accident left him in debilitating pain. Today, Therabody, is the go-to company for hand-held massage devices, which are incredibly well made, easy to use and OH SO effective. Their devices combine scientific research, cutting edge technology and real feedback for easy to use solutions which help reduce pain, stress and tension and all I can say is it works. When you get your Theragun, it comes well packaged, with the device in a nice protective soft case, the USB C charging cable, two massage attachments, a booklet entitled Unit Warnings and some cards, which guide you to learn about routines you can set up in the App from Therabody. Instead of a printed Quick Start Guide, when you open the box, it’s printed on the inside of box. The directions are plain and simple, and you scan the QR code to download the app to your iOS or Android phone. Logging in to the app, was simple and straightforward. I charged it first, then the app walks you through connecting your device, which was easy enough. I’m honestly not sure what to say about the App. It could be intimidating to some, but you can choose from 4 pre-programmed routines for different body parts and muscle groups, which then sends that to the device, and they run in 5-minute intervals. There’s an LCD screen on the device, which will show what routine is being used with guidance to show you where to massage and for how long. You can turn the intensity up or down, via the two buttons above and below the LCD screen. Overall, while I’m sure the app may be useful to some, I’ll be more inclined to just power up the Sense and use it on sore muscles as opposed to running a routine. I mentioned there are two massage attachments. One is the standard ball which is attached out of the box. The other is a Dampener which is wider and designed to blunt the percussive force of the device, providing a gentler, low-impact massage ideal for sensitive or tender areas of the body. What I had no clue was how exactly to replace one for the other. There really is no full user guide and I didn’t want to break the device out of the box, so I wound up watching a YouTube video which clearly showed how to remove and replace the attachment. Simply said, you pull it with some force as it’s attached over a bearing, which you then align the other attachment over and push in place. Overall, I’m really loving my new Theragun Sense, from Therabody. It’s truly well made. It’s easy to use. It’s remarkably quiet in use. And it feels GREAT on sore muscles! If you have any soreness as most of us do, this is a great investment for sure.

Theragun Sense 2nd Generation is quite helpful in its latest version at least as first impression. Using it, it feels light, easy to hold while moving around the different part of the muscle. Easy to grab from different angle, and doesn’t feel heavy at all. Now, in the package, it includes the Theragun, charging cable USB-C, travel pack, and two attachments (Dampener and Standard Ball). On the device, it has a LCD screen to indicate the power, battery status, charging status and timing while using it. Then hardware level buttons to Turn On, Start/Stop, Increase, Decrease. It also shows the symbol of Bluetooth when it is being connected to the phone and Therabody App. Replacing the attachments It requires to pull out to remove from the device, and push to place again. It is simple, but at first need to make sure two slots within the attachment match with respective side from the end side of the Theragun. Setting up the App and Using it. For new user, it requires to create new user as every app. But also it allows to sync with activities from Garmin, Strava, and Apple Health. Based the activity, it recommends post workout sessions. It includes video and time of duration to perform in each step. Now further in using it, it feels comfortable as moving between different muscle. It is light and easy to switch how to grab it in real time. What I wish it were better: 1. Carrying Travel Case: it is neoprene a like case. I would preferred a hard case alike considering its price point. 2. App Sync: Once it sync from Garmin, it doesn’t update back with the completed session. Every details remains only within Theragun App. Hence at least from Garmin Connect or Starva, can’t have the full list of activities. I find it is positive feature that based on the activity synchronized from third party app can suggest automatically the routine. But it is not integrated back to third party app. 3. Location of the Turn On/Off button: During the test, I experienced several time that as I change the angle of grabbing it, and unintentionally grab the upper side of the front next other buttons, I end up touching it and power off. Maybe it depend on each user, but happened too frequently. To end, compared to previous version, it look more practical, less bulky, weight less good for travel prep, it has good indicator from the LED, it has good integration with the App. From the App recommended routine, as it count the min and when it ends, automatically ends on the hardware side as well. Good and responsive with very well integrated function between software and hardware.

To this me this handle is the best upgrade to notate for me. It looks weird but overlook that because it allows for major versatility. Also the copper color accents are really nice to look at. All black isn’t bad but it’s nice to have a splash of color. Of course you get 2 knobs but I find myself only using one and putting the other one away but if you use them both it’s a simple tug down to release and and push up to tighten and start using. The little screen is interesting for me. I just press the button and hold until I feel the vibration and start using. The first setting is strong enough for me. But you can increase it. The screen will show you the power then length of time it’s been used. Press and hold to turn off. Again back to the handle it really does fit almost any angle that I want to use it. Overall this is my favorite yet. It’s a little too big for traveling with so I still have my smaller one so this one stays home and I use it almost everyday. Getting older and this keeps my muscles loose.

This massage gun is easy to hold and use. It’s helpful that it comes with two attachments depending on what you're using it for. It has the regular and then one you use for more sensitive areas. It has 5 speed levels. It had some charge right out of the box, but I charged it fully before my first use. I’ve been using it all week and it’s still about half charged. It comes with a nice carrying case that fits the gun, the attachments, the 3 quick start massage cards as well as the charging cord. The app is a great addition and I highly recommend trying it out. Once you connect it to the app, you have lots of options, depending on the type of goals and activities you select. It offers guided options that guide you in what part of the body to use it on, how long, what speed, and when it’s time to move to the next part. The routines that I now use regularly are sleep prep and sitting recovery options for the times when I have to spend hours working on reports. You can, of course, you can just pick it up to use wherever you need without the app too. You can also use the guided routines directly from the screen on the gun, which is a great option if one of the little ones is using my phone. I look forward to using it each day for different reasons. The guided routines are not too long, they are about 3-8 minutes depending on which I use. I use this massage gun all the time, after I work out, when I’m sitting for a long time, when I wake up in the morning, before bed and then any other time that I might need it. Especially when I have back aches and tension headaches. It has made such a big difference in how I feel. Now that I have it, I can’t imagine not using it. It really works. My body feels so much better, it relieves my soreness and makes me feel more relaxed each time I use it. But it doesn’t make me tired, it just makes me feel well. I think I will have to buy one for Christmas for the family to share. This way, I can hide this one so that I have access to it whenever I want. They all think this is great and love using it so at times, I have to wait my turn.

The product works quite well. I wish it had more than two speeds. When using the product, don’t focus on an area too long, you will start to itch. The built in programs are phenomenal. I love how the App assist with usage and location. The on-device screen is sufficient; it will guide you to the areas that you’re going to work out. The time built-in times help you to not over stimulate your muscles/tissue. I think I’m going to get the more expensive one. This product is a great introduction into muscle massage.

Great massager! My back and neck pain is so much after using this. The guided routines on the device as well as the app are really helpful to guide you through each massage.

Great theragun, much more ergonomic compared to the mini. The app and screen are quite useful. Most importantly the routines within the app help guide users who might not be as familiar with the massaging process.

Got this as a gift and love it. Easy to use. Easy to charge. Lots of features but still does the basic things right.

Nice product. The speed adjustment helps with the different areas that I want to focus on. It’s easy to use and comfortable to hold. The battery lasts a long time before needing to charge.
