Bought dec 2023, to use around the water because, its waterproof daa! I usually research anything i buy for months before doing so, this was no exception. Very happy with the sound and durability thus far. The only thing i would say is it is a lot bigger than it looks in the bestbuy pictures. Yes it does give a measurement but its in metric and who converts that in the USA…… Come on BB this isnt europe. Ive included pictures to give it some scale for those looking to buy this speaker. Sonos roam 6 1/2”, Mega B3 8 3/4” and a qt. DD extra extra also recommended 9 1/2”. Lov it and would recommend this speaker. Mark S.

Wow! This portable speaker is amazing fully waterproof,sound is great blew everybody on my party you could jam all day long battery easy set up with Bluetooth an one more thing everybody can connect to it also you could pair another magaboom if you have one for a extreme sound we used it as of sorround sound for our Apple TV with Bluetooth cannot said no more awesome portable speaker don’t hesitate to get its great.

Sound quality of the speaker is good. Not too bass heavy like the JBL one but the battery life seems to be really good based on early use. Connecting to speaker via UE app and iPhone was seamless. However I wish there were more equalizer preset options in the app. I have deduced one start for FEDEX delivery. They left the package out in the rain even when I buzzed them in.

I absolutely love the ultimate ears mega boom 3, I am so happy I purchased this it has an amazing sound awesome base and the battery. Life is awesome last a long time I actually bought two of them one for me and one for my son we take them everywhere. No need to worry if they get wet or not I actually would give it 10 stars well worth the money.

Excellent product from UE. Priced bit high but provides excellent build quality and Feels premium as well. Maintains good sound clarity and crisp at low and high volume. Waterproof makes it excellent outdoor speakers. Highly recommended for people who are looking for portable excellent sound quality outdoor speakers.

Still amazing in 2022. Sound is amazing and very portable. Love the water resistance as well as the sunset red. Easy to use app and pairing.

This is a great portable speaker, great sound and clarity!I love the party up feature, I have another Megaboom speaker and a Boom3 speaker that I use together to create a surround sound effect while only having a small footprint in the backyard, I love it!!!

Love it, this speakers sound good, bass all that i will delivered but few things i didnt like it, first no instructions to how to use it, second is loud but not to loud when u go to the beach i can heard loud n clear close to me, but after few meters far away so poor sound, that is my reason why return it, but is a good speaker tho sound amazing at home full it sound

Excellent product, battery life is good, the app to run it is good, the sound quality is great. It's waterproof and can be used in any conditions. Just a fantastic speaker.

This is strictly from an audio perspective, however its the most important one when it comes to a speaker. Firstly, this thing is using two drivers, positioned opposite from each other, paired with their own passive radiators right below. This back-to-back design gives the best 360° sound for something of this format, but also gives the user the best stereo experience whether its facing towards it away from you. The actual frequency response of this speaker leaves a little to be desired within the sub-bass frequencies, however its better than most of the JBL and Sony products within the price range, while making music sound like its coming from a real set of speakers, not just out of a little box.

I have used it nonstop since I bought it. Great quality sound, long lasting battery, and app is easy to use! Great for the beach!

After reading the reviews and specs, I decided to move from a JBL Charge to the Megaboom 3 (blue because it was $70 cheaper). The sound out of the box was clean, bass sounded decent, highs lacked a little, not very loud but more than I needed, I suppose. Nothing that probably couldn't be taken care on the UE app. However, I could not download the app because it says it was built for an older phone version. After contacting customer service (which was reposnsive and friendly) an app update is needed but not available yet. Before deciding whether to return the MB3, I played it next to my daughters Charge 4, which has been broken in and the Charge had more sound balance. Even though the Megaboom has a 360 degree sound, a solid build and aesthetically pleasing, I think I am going to exchange for another JBL.

Speaker was bought to travel with and fits perfectly in travel bag. Great sound and plenty loud to play by the pool!! Can’t wait to pair up with my 2 Hyperbooms!!

First of all, it’s just beautiful, and feels SO good to the touch. Second, it sounds AMAZING!!! I bought this when I lost my Bose Revolve+ while I was camping. The base isn’t as deep, but the sound quality is better and more clear. And it costs less, and is waterproof.

Amazing sound. Very portable. Sits or hangs anywhere. This is my 3rd speaker of this brand.

I use this in my vehicle since I can’t hook up my iPod to the radio. The sound is great and the bottoms are easy to use. Only complaint is that there was no information on the thing in the box other than how not to mess up the battery. Was able to find how to tell when it was done charging online but still would have been nice if it was in the box.

Ultimate Ears packs a punch for it's size. The surround sound it offers is amazing.
