The WORST unit ever!!! Cold? YES! Quiet? F NO!!!!! It sounds like it’s about to jump out the window. I ordered before leaving on vacation and now it’s out of the return window! I hate how loud this thing is! Unbelievable!!!!! I tried the heater and it NEVER did come on. What am I’m missing here besides $600

Purchase this portable air conditioning unit to try and cool down my garage Which has been pushing 90 degrees this summer. Had it about two weeks now and it's working great, maintaining 72 degrees with no problem. The unit is pretty quiet even on the Max setting. I'll be testing it as a heater in the winter and haven't utilized the dehumidifier features yet.

Not a Whirlpool product, its HiSense. Broke 1 month in, stopped cooling, normal bedroom, normal setup. Best Buy, Whirlpool and HiSense not taking responsibilty even though it has a 1 year manufacture warrenty. Everyone wants a serial number from the unit which is not labeled with one. Smear campaign and small claims court it is… thanks everyone for the $600 hassle.

Cools decently enough but is super noisey and sometimes screeches and shakes. Definitely made for a larger room. If you put this in your bedroom this would probably keep you awake.

A lot of coverage for such a small unit. I have had portable A/C units in the past and so much was required to get them to efficiently cool a room. Not the case with this unit!

So far so good. Cools great, not terribly noisy. Installation was simple.

Worst purchase ever! 15 day return policy. It was delivered on May 22, 2025. It didn’t get hot enough until July to find out that this unit could not keep up with the heat. BUT the return period ended on June 6, 2025. 15 day return period is a rediculous.

Works well so far!! Needed this when the AC broke at our house.
