Hooking up the system was pretty much easy and self-explanatory. The one caveat to that is, I think they could do a better job explaining that you must hook up the system to a specific HDMI port on most tv's to get the true 4k benefits. Once the system was hooked up and turned on, I was blown away by the truly amazing graphics shown before me. The performance of the system itself was a proper enhancement all its own compared to its predecessor. While the system does carry a hefty price tag, it appears to be well worth it.

I bought my Xbox one X, as well as a new 4k TV from Best Buy to really unleash its power. Huge difference in speed over my first gen Xbox one and the graphics on a 4k TV are very noticeable. Very happy with my purchase. The only con was the price of the console, but that is not a fault on Best Buy as the price is the same at any store, but with Best Buy I am awarded reward points.

This is the best Xbox Microsoft has made. My son got it for his birthday and loves it. It’s blazing fast, 4K hdr, WiFi AC and completely backwards compatible with all the hands! It looks amazing on a 4K tv and up converts older games. Love the passive hdmi ports and all the usbs!

I have my X running on a Samsung 75 inch Q7f. And all i can say is wow. I played call of duty on my S first to compare, and you can really see the difference. Worth every penny. NOw to get on Forza 7 and COD.

Absolutely the best console ever. You must really have the 4k tv to go with it. To enjoy it in its entirety. You will not be disappointed. I have the ps4 pro too And that's just for its exclusives which have gotten lame quick "minus that Horizon Zero Dawn and Nioh". The console is basically a paperweight. Because the cross console games play better on the Xbox1X plus it plays 4k movies. I absolutely love it.

Heavy as a tank! Xbox one x runs great. Games look good and smooth. Downloads for games and updates are huge though and didn’t let me play Forza 7 without updating first. Needs an offline mode.

Way better than original, graphic look way better on most games. If you play fortnite, buy the monitor... You never experience frame rate slowing on 50 v 50, which is the hardest for xbox to keep up with. No issues so far

Xbox X what can't be said about it. Great system, fantastic graphics. Only issue is that 1TB harddrive is only good for 10-12 games. I recommend buying an external HDD if you don't like deleting games from harddrive.

However, after playing COD WWII on my One S and realizing that I wasn't unleashing the full potential of my LG OLED, I decided to pick this up. I don't regret my purchase but I will say that I think Microsoft is a little too early to "the game." The box itself is very quick (start-up, loading, etc) and responsive which is nice. But there aren't any exclusives, nor are there incentives for developers to put in the extra effort for 4k yet. Multiplayer has also proven to be laggy because these servers cannot handle processing 4k content yet. I was also disappointed that Microsoft decided against VR/MR. I was stoked at the prospect of flipping over my couch and shooting around corners in my living room and when they ignored it, I cancelled my pre-order. Microsoft had a huge opportunity to bring VR/MR into the mainstream and stick it to PS once and for all. But I knew all this going into the purchase so ultimately I was bummed but not swayed. If MS doesn't address this with an update next year, this will probably be my final Xbox and I will return to PS grudgingly. To me, 1 TB of memory is bush league as well when its $500 and 4k games could theoretically be 200 GB a piece. 2 TB should have been standard with a 4 TB premium option. Finally, I think MS has made a huge mistake by allowing cross-platform play with Windows. Essentially you can buy or build a computer with better graphics, processing, memory, VR/AR/MR, and know that you can upgrade it easily w/o voiding your warranty once a new technology comes along unlike an Xbox. Pros: 4k content, processing speed, boot times, works with all previous games, convenience, familiarity. Cons: Price, 1 TB hard drive, no VR/AR/MR, no exclusive 4k titles, no rechargeable controller (its 2017 MS! PS has had this since the PS3!), not future proof, heavy, laggy multiplayer. Overall, I know that it seems as though I am being negative about the device and I want it known that I'm not trying to be. There are just some obvious missed details that should have been addressed prior to release. I would say buy the console if you have a high end tv and enjoy gaming. If you don't have a nice 4k tv, I would say stick to the One S or you're just wasting your money. Be aware, content is slim right now so perhaps this may be a purchase that you might be better off holding out on until they finally release a VR headset or get some more content out to unleash its potential.
