Customer Ratings & Reviews

Pros: -A great card that can play almost any high demanding game: modded Minecraft, Victoria 3, etc. -Definite upgrade from rx 6600 xt -12GB of VRAM is still a massive upgrade with anyone at 8GB -Aesthetically pleasing Cons: -The standard selling price of $550 is not ideal Verdict: If you can't fork another $100 for the rx 9070, this rx 9070 gre is a great choice—particularly if it sells closer to $500!

I was worried at first switching from Nvidea. Thankfully within the first few games I booted up I had 0 worries. It plays everything I've thrown at it pushing 100-144fps at 2k resolution and ultra to high settings.

The card has a beefy 3 slot cooler and temps are pretty good. It is in my linus mint machine for playing steam games. Best price/performance card when I bought it, as virtually all other cards not a 9070 GRE were around 40% more expensive than in August 2026. The prices are going to increase soon or maybe already have.
