I have VR goggles that I use almost daily for workouts, light gaming, etc and was wanting to try AR glasses as something a little more comfortable and easy to wear while out and about. I had a couple use cases I thought I could fill with them. The Xreal 1S glasses are larger than even a large pair of sunglasses, but definitely not as big and bulky as VR goggles. They are fairly low key looking. A USB C cable is included and connects to the very end of the temple. You can plug the other end into your phone or laptop and have a large phone screen floating in front of you. In one of my use cases, I am able to plug them into my drone remote and get a large view duplicated of the screen on my remote. Xreal and others create pocket tv type boxes you can plug into also and stream just about any of you usual services also. I like that you do not have to register or create accounts etc to use the Xreal 1S. Basically just plug in and go. To check for firmware updates you go to the xreal website OTA page, plug the glasses into your computer USB port, and it checks for and applies any updates needed. The marketing specs will talk about a 500' screen (ok i'm exaggerating) but in reality it's equivalent to about a 27" screen about an arms length in front of you. A couple different size sets of nose pieces are included, and you can bend the brackets a little to get them to fit you. In my use I have a hard time getting the fit perfect and stay in place in the perfect sweet spot for the screen. I also have to get the glasses as close to my face as possible in order to get the entire screen in view, When I do, the top frame is pressed against my forehead. The frame does get warm and you will feel it on your head. All the settings available for the Xreal 1S are available thru menus accessed with a couple buttons on the right temple. You can set the screen size and distance, brightness, screen location, the pass through dimming level, volume, turn the built in 3d conversion on/off and set level, and probably some other things I'm forgetting. The built in 3d conversion works very well in most cases. It converts standard image/videos into 3d. I was able to notice some artifacts and 'weirdness' with it when I really looked for it, but under normal watching you probably wont see it. I haven't had a chance to use them on a road trip yet (while I'm a passenger of course), but that is another use case I'm looking forward to trying them with. The sound is pretty decent considering it is just tiny speakers mounted in the temples. All in all, nice bright clear micro OLED screen that is better than VR goggles, but not as immersive, but also not as boring as looking at a lcd screen sitting on the desk in front of you. They work great for what I wanted.

Really cool piece of technology. The 3DoF is stable and the Real 3D is shockingly well done for something still in its early iteration. The glasses offer a lot of adjustments both physically and in software. I got a 3rd party case too that makes it easier to store the glasses and cable for travel

Terrific! I use these to extend my MacBook monitor and to watch shows and movies on planes and right before bed. The are not heavy and don't irritate my nose or my head. They do get a tad warm on top where the actual screens are located, but that does contact my face so it's not really noticeable. They definitely don't look super clunky, but it's obvious to anyone around you that you're wearing special glasses. Highly recommend if you hate holding your phone while in bed, wish you had a second monitor while traveling, and don't care for airplane headrest TVs.

Love them a big screen tv for whenever i need one great picture vivid color connects to everything I have and biggest thing is they are comfortable and not that heavy

Bought this for my cousin and he loves it. It’s lightweight and the screen size is very big, the speakers are loud and clear.

Best Ar Glasses I've Ever Had..I Enjoy The Clarity

They are great easy to use AR Glasses. Every aspect of them are top notch: clarity, weight, comfort, sound, display size... the only problem is that they do get hot after a while. I returned them because I imagine AR glasses will only get better with time. It seems like there are new releases every month so I am taking my time.

I love these glasses. They’re not perfect, but none of these glasses are yet. These are extremely comfortable. I have worn them for hours at a time and have not experienced overheating or any discomfort. The picture is great, the color accuracy is tremendous. The corners are blurry if you set the screen at a large scale and close, but every pair of glasses I have tried do the exact same thing. I need reading glasses to see my phone screen but I do not need corrective lenses with these. I see crystal clear. That was a concern I had before purchasing but the experience has been awesome.

Best part is it's pulg and play to any usb c like phones and handhelds . It has good quality images and bright what I didn't like and bothered me the most was reflection and it got worm after an hour of usage .

Display glasses are getting closer to perfection, and the XREAL 1S is a perfect example. I especially like the REAL 3D feature which converts everything and anything into 3D, and it's no gimmick! This is the best purchase I have made recently.
