Excellent standard zoom for L-mount
Excellent lens. It has great microcontrast, contrast, color rendition, and the ability to close focus at all focal lengths is a big plus. Compared to the kit 20-60, it has sharper output and just about no chromatic aberration, where the kit zoom does. Also the OIS gives you Dual IS with the in-camera IBIS, which make it much easier to keep stable without external support. Add in to that the sale price that BB has on it, which is 1/3 less than anywhere else, and it's a bargain. Very good choice in this focal range!
