Good Show!
I recently discovered the Mentalist in reruns on TV. Once I'd watched a few episodes, I was convinced Patrick Jane and the CBI unit were characters I would enjoy and I was so right! I used to avoid it due to accusations that it was similar to another show I watched, but after watching The Mentalist, I really don't see as many similarities as people claimed there was. The Mentalist is it's own show and I love Patrick Jane! Just quirky and weird!

One very involving drama. Good characters
Patrick Jane is a very engaging character and all the cons that he pulls off are both funny and intriguing. The writers do a lot of character development that carries over season after season. We liked the series so much that we decided to start watching it all over again from the beginning to see what we missed.

Great first season
he first season takes time to get to know the characters and their quirks, while still offering an entertaining plot line.
