A: Yeah, This should be able to run almost every modern game at or above 60fps due to the gtx 1070 in the rig, the 16gigs of ram is also more than required so you should be good.
A: Hi CuriousLlama, To answer your question, it is a combination of both CPU and GPU that is needed to run games. It all depends on certain games for how stressed/intensive the cpu or gpu will need to be ran at in order for it to be played at max settings. If you are still uncertain about buying this system, a great alternative for a better CPU and more storage that I would recommend is a BB931 or a BB770.
