Q: How do u start to make hot coffee (4 answers)
A: The buttons are on the right side. Top button is iced setting. If you want hot coffee just skip the iced button. Pick your size in ounces from 8 to 12 and it will start hot coffee. For iced coffee fill the glass with ice, press the iced button then select your size. The Keurig will adjust temperatures and water accordingly. If you select 12 oz without the iced option you get 12 oz. If you get 12 oz iced coffee you will get brewed at a lower temp and you will get about 6 oz of coffee over the ice.Q: How do I put this model into descale mode? (3 answers)
A: Thank you for your question. The complete Use and Care Guide with detailed descaling instructions can be found on the Support page of the Keurig website. We have included them below as well: STEP 1: Prepare the Brewer Pour the entire bottle of Keurig Descaling Solution into an empty water reservoir. Then fill the empty bottle with water and pour into the water reservoir. Do not insert a K-Cup pod. Place a large mug on the drip tray. STEP 2: Descale the Brewer To activate Descale Mode, begin with the brewer plugged in and powered off, then press and hold the 8oz and 12oz buttons together for 3 seconds. When flashing, press the 12oz button to start the descaling process. Once the brew is complete, pour the hot liquid into the sink. Continue to brew until the ADD WATER light illuminates. STEP 3: Fresh Water Rinse Empty the water reservoir, rinse the tank, and refill to the MAX FILL line with fresh water. When flashing, press the 12oz button to start the rinsing process. Once the brew is complete, pour the hot liquid into the sink. Continue to brew 12oz until the DESCALE notification turns off. The brewer has now exited Descale Mode and will be ready for use!- A: No filter. Just K cups. Or get a reusable Kcup type filter if you want to brew your own coffee.
