A: Yes this is compatible with the Lenovo Active Capacitive Pen you can only order from Lenovo (confirmed by their customer service). Also, the Active Pen Holder, attaches to a usb port and holds the pen to the side of the laptop.

A: Upgraded to Windows 10 and the digitizer works fine.

A: it is a single channel.
Q: Any great laptop cases/sleeves for this model?
A: I have not found a case either, but this laptop is so durable you don't need one. The best bet would be to get a laptop sleeve to protect it during travel.
