    No more fogged lenses

I saw this on the shelf and bought one, knowing that I could return it if I didn't like it. I love it. The lights need to be dimmed a bit or it's distracting but the open interface is so much more comfortable. It is much cooler and there is no more lens fogging. If you get your strap adjusted properly, the pass-through naturally extends to the open area of the interface with very little difference.

Great for when playing fitness games!

This has been a gamechanger when i want to play a fitness game and im wearing my glasses! I used to have to take my headset off to wipe my glasses every few minutes when doing intense workout/gameplay. It also helps for motion sickness and for being able to see when my dogs are close by me (so I don't accidentally hit them or step on them). Its really not that distracting to be able to see out the sides (at least not for activity games). Honestly, you really cant see that much, its kind of just the perfect amount and it really doesnt take away from VR. Obviously for super immersive worlds/games, it might take a way a bit, but for fitness games, its perfect!

Questions & Answers

  • Does it provide additional room to wear glasses?

Hello Cableguy! That’s a really good question! The Quest 3 Open Facial Interface isn’t designed to give extra room for glasses, it’s mainly built to improve airflow and expand your peripheral vision, which makes mixed reality experiences and fitness activities feel more natural and comfortable. But don’t worry, your Meta Quest headset should come with a glasses spacer. This little accessory helps create the space you need to wear glasses safely and comfortably while using the headset. If you’d like step‑by‑step guidance, the Meta Help Center has clear instructions on how to adjust the fit so it works well with glasses.
