Does this earbud have a built-in mic? null

I purchased these for my husband and yes he has answered phone calls and had full conversations. You just have to make sure your head piece is connected to your cellphone and on.

Yes it has 4 built in noise canceling mics but the charging case doesn’t charge the EarPods fully it stops charging the EarPods at 80% not 100% I had to disconnect the power from it several times in order for the devices to get its full charge which only lasts for 3 hours before it dies. However it does have great sound quality but it doesn’t meet my qualifications for my expectations that I need it for.

You can answer calls and talk as if you are in the phone they work great in that aspect
