“Hi I have Bose Acoustimass 10V 5.1 system - works great. If I want to convert this to a 7.2 surr0und sound system, if I buy a 7.2 receiver like Denon, can I add 2 speakers to the same Bose system? Or should I buy a new 7.2 subwoofer and speakers?”

I would say yes just add the extra speakers. I added a couple of JVC speakers to mine and they work just fine.
