• Unfortunately no it is not. I haven't had a new system for a LONG time so everything was new to me. Anyways, the speakers have a special cable that plugs into the subwoofer. Then there is a thick cable that has the individual speaker wire that plugs into the receiver and subwoofer wire plug.

• Hello MyNewLife, thank you for your interest in the Acoustimass 10 Series V 5.1-Channel Home Theater Speaker System. As some others have mentioned, this system uses speaker wire to connect the components. The five Singleshot Cube speakers will connect to the bass module with an included cable, and then the bass module will connect to a stereo receiver. We would recommend a 5-channel receiver with 75-150 watts per channel of power output. Hope this helps! Jesse - Bose Support
