• Yes, I used this device to pull OTA channels and show them on a projector. The remote is easy to understand and having used the VIZIO displays in the past, this should complement that unit perfectly as the HDMI out works very well. I would recommend a good antenna to pull in the OTA channels and in my case, I used the Leaf 50. Worth the $40 that BestBuy is selling it for.

• Yes, my TV is also a tuner-less Vizio and it hooks up through an HDMI input. Please see the review by WLB1, however.
