yes--you need to have your tv set to either channel 3 or 4 and have the same selection on the menu of the box under channel search. You should have the rf cable in from your antennae to the box and out to your tv. If the box is set to loop through, you need to connect av cables (which also convert to analog) in order to change to the correct channel.
