Playing the DVR on the t.v. should act the same as live t.v. You would just record straight to the Aluratek from the t.v. from there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your DVR has an RF output, try connecting it to the RF input of the Aluratek with a coax cable. If the DVR does not have an RF output, try connecting an RF modulator to the video/audio output from your DVR, and the RF output from the RF modulator to the RF-in jack of the Aluratek. This only works if the Aluratek can tune in the analog ch3/ch4 output of the RF modulator.

This Aluratek expects/produces '.MTS' files on a FAT32 usb disk (memory or real) 2) To connect to TV you must use HDMI ... if you do not have that, consider tossing the TV and 'upgrading' to a $200 new model. 3) Capture and record is only from an Over-the-air Antenna signal, not Cable.
