Does this converter box have an RF remote? My situation is that my media closet is far away from my projector / living room so I need a remote where the signal travels through walls, etc. If it does not, is there a converter that does have an rf remote? null

It has a remote but not RF. The remote has to be pointed directly at the box.

Just a suggestio, try extending your coaxial cable from your media closet to your projector, placing/securing the converter box on top of your projector (use cable ties to hold it.
