Yes you can. On the Alexa app. Hit More Under See More Hit Settings Hit Alexa on this Echo Dot/Phone Hit Language Then Select which ever one you will like.

Hello Claire, Yes, Alexa can speak many languages. You can go into the Alexa app > Settings>Device Settings> pick a device and choose "languages" and it will let you change to a multitude of languages.
