“Does this screen have some sort of filter for reading in sunlight? I see the new Fire 10 HD cannot be seen well in sunlight. I need one for mainly reading outside with a larger screen than a 6 inch kindle.”

Hi Jennifer! Because of the glass screen, there may be glare when reading in direct sunlight. You can improve this by brightening the screen to the brightest setting. Keep in mind that with the Kindle, you can always increase font size so that may still be a better option for you if you will be reading in direct sunlight often. The kindle Oasis has a 7 inch screen so that could also be another option for you. Hope this helps!
