This product doesn't require an Alexa, it comes with an Alexa voice command, and you can use it if you want.

You don't need to have an Amazon Alexa before buying the fire stick. The fire stick remote has a microphone and can listen to your voice command to perform a function similar to a separate Alexa device. I'm not sure what functionality they would have or if they work together. But you don't have to buy an Alexa device before buying the fire stick

No you do not need Alexa. It has a built in Alexa for the remote.
