• It depends. Typically this works well in conjunction with a streaming service (like DirectTV NOW). I bought it also for sports, but at the end the black out restrictions apply. You would need to pay anyway a TV service provided in order to avoid the blackouts. In some applications you can see some shows/programs after 24 hours or so from the time they were broadcasted.

• Depends on whether the channel provider has designed an app or not that is compatible with Firetv.

• It really just depends. Some services stream free and some need to be purchased.
