• Some are available with just an Amazon account. Prime gives you a lot more. Skip that and download Kodi, and then other apps, using Kodi and more is available. Google Kodi and learn about it.

• Just the free basic amazon account just so the device can be registered to you. Other things such as netflix and prime have to be paid for!
