This has nothing to do with your cable tv, all you need is your internet wifi to use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would it is way cheaper to subscribe to the services available on your firestick such as sling, hulu and netflix to name a few they give you the content you want without all the hassle. I cut the cord almost 3 years ago and never looked back

Please try again later.I'm using DirectTV NOW with the Fire Stick and Fire TV boxes and so far it is great. $35 for just about everything you'd get with a middle-tier cable plan. You can run 2 streams at once as well. If you need more streams or cloud-based DVR, look to PlayStation VUE TV instead.

If you dont like it just return it with in the time allowed and get your money back. Or if you like it then your already set up. Good Luck
