“I am having trouble upgrading my firestick. I am not tech oriented & tried to do it myself after viewing you tube for instructions - but have failed! Will the geek squad do this for me? Please advise. I will pay them if need be. Please advise.”

The Firestick does the updates on its own unless you are trying to upgrade a specific Media Player or app that you may have added. I have apps and media players that I have to upgrade on my own since those are third party apps and not the ones already preloaded on the Firestick.

Go to settings, the go to device, then click on "ABOUT"... Click "check for system update", if there is an update available you should see it there and you should also get an option to update

It's cheaper to buy a new fire stick than get geek squad to upgrade.
