Is this similar to Google chromecast null

Yea ultimately it's similar to Google Chromecast, Roku, apple tv etc. They are all just differnt platforms but still provide similar if not the same materials. Each Just with slight unique qualities to make the preference up to you.

better in some ways. chromecast must have the ability to extend off from your phone or pc/tablet, while the firestick gives you more options of what to watch without an extension.

I think it is alot better. I already have Amazon prime so this was a no brainier!
