• In regards to the Amazon Fire Stick: I had to add new batteries to my remote before it would work. I had the firestick for a couple weeks when it stopped "working". I went thru a few different scenarios before replacing the batteries and haven't had a problem since.

• keep holding the home button for 10 sec and get close to the firestick
