Do you mean the apps? If your version is outdated, they won't come over. I had no idea I was using such an 'old' news reader until I tried to upload the same app only to find that the new version was nothing like the one I am used to and like very much. I just use the old iPad to read news --- that app is so much better than the new version!

It did the same with my wife's. She just let it sit and do it's thing and all of them ended up being transferred.
