If you mean in person using the hearing assist function, yes. My mother set them up to use that way and said it was great. If you mean on a phone call, the sound is clear and anything in the background near you won’t be picked up or cause interference for you to hear.

I've used this for phone calls and Zoom/Teams virtual meetings(of course, internet connectivity is a larger factor on the audio quality). I've asked my friends who use other earbuds and no earbuds how my voice sounds and every time they've said my voice sounds clear on their end. Also if you have a MacBook or Mac and you get a phone call on your phone, switching audio device between all these devices is so seamless.
