A:AnswerHomePod is designed to work with the AppleTV set top box or most any other iDevice, like iPad, iPhone or Mac. It won't work directly from a television.
A:AnswerHeavy metal SO LOUD is a great band and can totally see getting kicked out of many gated and even ungated type communities. It would require an AC to DC converter to run it through your 1912 Ford Model T!
A:AnswerNo problem. The speakers will self calibrate to location and room size. I have a pair in a 25' x 20' with 14' vaulting ceiling. I placed each on end table of a 7' length sofa in the middle of the room. Wirelessly connected to an Apple TV the sound is great both with music and TV programming. The vocals are clearer than my Yamaha/Polk audio 5.2 sound system. Although the bass is not a pronounced as the Yamaha subwoofers, the sound is still impressive and pleasing. Go for it!
A:AnswerHomePods can be set up in stereo pairs. With AirPlay 2, you can have multiple pairs playing the same song throughout the house at the same time.
A:AnswerYes, but I’m pretty sure you’ll need an Apple TV. I have an old smart Tv that I don’t even use the “smart” option it has. With the Apple TV coupled with it I essentially have surround sound with just one speaker the range is really good.
