“Does this phone get activated right a way or do you activate it when you get, if you are upgrading a phone?”

• They do it then but if you do it later, it will cost more.

• If you order it you will have to activate the phone. I have service with Sprint and I usually go to Best Buy when I upgrade and the specialist do the activation and transfers everything over for you.
