QuestionI am thinking of purchasing of a new iMac to replace a "late 2013" iMac. I have the expanded apple keyboard that is a late 2013 purchase as well as an apple disk drive. Will these work with a new iMac?

- Answer I have a new M1 MacBook Pro and the keyboard works with that just fine so long as you allow Bluetooth devices to wake the system.

- Answer The keyboards I have have to be kept charged. I have some that are eight years old. One should have a cable that came with the key board. If you no longer have that cable, I believe you could purchase one from Apple. Also , you might have a family member, or friend that has one with a cable that would let you test your keyboard to see if that is the cause of it not working.

- Answer Make sure the switch is on. If so, look in the Bluetooth section of system preferences to be sure it's visible (if it's on and not visible, there's something wrong with the device). The keyboard section should automatically hook it up. You can only be paired with one device at a time - Blue Tooth is monogamous. You can unpair and re-pair as often as you like, if you don't mind the hassle.

- Answer This keypad is compatible with a MacBook Pro 13 inch early 2013 laptop I have. It also works with a 2013 Mac mini I have. I believe it will work with with 2013 27 iMac. Also, just contact Aplle and ask them.

- Answer I think it depends on how much it is used and whether one recharges it with the cable that came with it. I have one that is still working after about ten years.

- Answer I bought this for use with an iMac. It came with a smaller keyboard that didn't have the numeric keypad like this one. The wireless apple mouse would be enough since you macbook Air already has a built in keyboard
