• You will need a usb-c (thunderbolt) to USB adapter and it will work fine.

• It comes with a standard USB connector. If your MacBook Pro comes with a USB outlet, you do not need to purchase additional connectors. If you have only a USB-c outlet, then you will need to purchase an adaptor, which is not expensive.
