Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Be supper carful. If your Macbook Pro has an internal DVD unit already (like a 2010 model)., no it will not work. If your Macbook Pro is new (like a 2015)r and does not have an internal DVD unit, yes it will work. Just check with Apple.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an older basic Macbook (2009), and have not been able to get it to work with it. It turns on when I plug it into the computer, but nothing more happens - nothing pops up on my desk top and the dvd can't be placed in it. I am not a techie so will check with Apple tech. Hope someone can answer your question. I will continue to find out about it and come back to report anything new. I bought it because the dvd player does not work on my computer and I need an Apple dvd to update my operating system - too old for on-line down loads. Thought buying a separate plug in Apple one would work. All the best.
